Cheers Mark. I know nothing about Ukuleles, but I was in Honolulu and there was a Uke shop in the hotel. I tried the Kona (made in China) ukes. They sounded OK so I bought a Tenor (the one in this vid) and a Concert. The Kona wood is native to Hawaii apparently - but I don't really know.
@anonplace It really has a warm sound to it (maybe the Kona is the Martin of ukes). I've got a baritone Kala, also made in China. Bought a baritone because I'm a lazy SOB. It is tuned the same as a tenor guitar and didn't require me learning a bunch of new chords. Sure enjoy your music. Take care. ~ Mark
Certainly not superhuman, Johnny. I had a really crappy uke banjo about 20 years ago, so I knew the rudiments. But i haven't played a uke since then. I was in Oahu, so I bought a couple of cheap ukes. I started playing guitar on a classical, so I'm loving the nylon strings. Makes me wanna buy a classical guitar. When I pick on a steel string guitar, my technique makes this awful scuffing sound, so I had to change my style completely about 8 years ago.
Thanks Knapsteractyl. Get some more songs on the tube you home-brewing hick chicken farmer. Are you guys just basking in the huge price of wheat? I hear Kansas land prices are just ridiculous.
Soft place in my heart (Guy would say in my head) for a uke. Great sound coming out of that little feller. What kind is it? All the best. ~ Mark

You do have another uke right? Because if this is you first time playing a uke and this came out, I will have to call you super human or something!
