According to the Manga they meet again. It hasnt been animated yet, The guys on Initial D World forums know the full story, if theres a 5th stage we might see it then.

I like this anime but love stories in it are shown as most unfortunate, No real connection, and every concludes the same way with a breakup misunderstanding or similar I do not like such things in anime I apologize for my bad english

That was beautiful... i shed so many tears... because ive had the same thing happen to me... in an almost identical thing. but thats the best AMV ever i swear on my life.
almost all romance in the series end up downhill, especially ikky's. I'm kinda irritated in a way, coz they never get to have happy endings....anyway lets just wait and see.
