This is my all time favorite song. I grew up mennonite and my non-mennonite friends dont have a clue what I am talking about when I mention this song. They also tell me that I need to join a choir bc the music is "so" difficult. I just laugh...
Let us never forget that this wonderful song was NOT learned by flashing words up on the wall. It was learned because these young people at some time in their lives sat down with a BOOK and learned to read the MUSIC. What harmony they are singing here, they are singing from memory.
Churches who have nothing BUT words flashed up on the wall will one day wake up to find that they traded away an important skill so they could be cool like the evangelical megachurches.
Many thanks for posting! I have been looking for this on youtube for years. Being from a large Mennonite community & moving away to a small rural area with no Mennonite church for many miles, I believe I have missed the singing the most, especially 606.
