  • Comment removed

  • It changes the tone drastically but still fits like a glove.

  • I want a suit of armor like that bullet proof and explosion proof and the scare the carp out of people mask with the glowing red eyes

  • 0:30

  • Maan great movie brings back so much memories watvhin dis ol movie back in Jersey

  • All in all it was a great amv and a damn good movie choice for paint it black and perfectly ended. Youtube desperately needs more amvs like this.

  • @melvin7521819 : 1 of the best anime ever made ...

the DVD is hard to find is several countries. I bought myself a copy a few years ago in London...

Well made, ChainerX ! Good choice of song(s) and great hommage to the movie ... Thanx !

  • nice

  • lol

  • i have that armor in fallout new vegas

  • i don't know about anyone else but this kinda shows a human fighting a beast within

  • "Overkill" doesn't quite cover what Fuse did to Henmi

  • Theese red eyed guys sure like excessive fire.

  • This one of my favorite animes.Good job.

  • Most fitting.

  • STG44's, MG42's, sdk222's the best for the beasts of war!

  • woah hellgast

  • Thanks for uploading the "old" Version with the Stones.

I knew the old video, until it was deleted. Now, its back!

  • What's the song at the end, in the credits?

  • great song

  • i got spoiled >_< T_T damn xD

  • holly shit.

    sooo epic.

  • eyes without a fucking face, man!

  • i dont get y they train with an mp44 when they use mg42's when they go out and do thier job

    good vid tho

  • @longhairdlout It makes them better well rounded. In the manga/comics differnt groups used differnt weapons. One guy uses a MP44 and an anti-tank rifle. His armor is rather bad ass.

  • @longhairdlout For the same reason that people that drive tanks don't start in a massive battle tank. You have to gradually progress. Although I'm sure they get trained in all weapons so they can be well rounded soldiers.

  • 2:50 good example why you shouldnt fuck with the guy who has a Mg42.

  • such a sad movie... must have been the most emotional watch of my live, milgram... dear milgram (psychologist, look up on google)

  • it´s so catchy can´t get it..

    perfectly done!

    thank you for the experience...

    sorry may bad english :)

  • the guys at guerrilla games said they were inspired by jin roh

  • amazing anime....!!!!

  • those dudes with the red eyes kinda look like the enemies off Killzone

  • The killzone guys are ripped from this.

Or to be fair, "designs based on ww2 equipment" like in jin roh.

  • im pretty sure killzone was based off this not exactly ripped off but you are correct it was inspired by this show

  • Jin roh i a anime film, and is amazing, one of the best anime that i hace ever seen

  • is Jin roh a anime show or something??? never heard of it

  • yes

  • its a movie and its damn good

  • @melvin7521819 It is a movie, based on a manga called Kerberos Saga,

  • @melvin7521819 movie/manga/book/liveactions/CGI shorts. it's pretty much anything you want it to be, there is only one anime movie, everything else is either books/manga/ or live action films. There is one CGI short called Last Battalion or something like that.

  • the ending runs over your soul with a train if you watch the movie

  • this video is really awsome...but i hate and dont understnd the end °.°

  • Hmm, they look like the guys from the Terran Republic (Planet Side) , same weapon also or maybe its the other way around =P

  • Some put this movie on youtube with english sub at last! And yea this amv is sweet it's on my favorite list.

  • that was so LEET/AWESOME!

  • About the Helghast-Cerberus corps connection, it's very possible that it's just a coincidence. What are the most scary soldiers? Modern ones, with facecovering masks and glowing eyes. They look like emotionless drones which you can't sympathise with, in comparison with the other guys.

  • It's true. I love that look...it's like...flies. red eyes and insectoid faces. And where there are flies...there is death.

It's what makes seeing world war I soldiers in gas masks so eerie.

  • you ought to play Medal of Honor: Airborne. There are Nazi supersoldier that look similar to the panzercorps and use the same machinegun. They take a lot of damage before going down, too.

  • Kill Zone actually used the Protect Gear for inspiration for the Helghast armor.

  • idk but this reminded me of killzone 2 is there a connection?

  • none, this came out WAY before killzone

  • Well, there's sort-of a connection. Killzone got their inspiration from this. The Killzone soldiers are based on the soldiers you see here.

  • When I first saw this video I thought they got the soldiers from killzone

  • Hehe, yeah it's understandable, a lot of people think that when they first see this video. But this series apparently goes back as far as the late 1980s if I'm not mistaken. Certainly the early 1990's though. I'm not really an expert, I've just seen Jin-Roh and read a little about the series on wikipedia, but I'm sure you could find out anything you wanted to know from wikipedia.

  • Yes! Yes! Fucking awesome!

  • what was the song at the end?

  • 良くまとめられたビデオだと思います。good!!

  • that was sweet, i love this song, you did a sweet job :D

  • that was sweet, i love this song, you did a sweet job :D

  • Quien es el autor de la cancion?

  • The Rolling Stones wrote this, in 1966.

  • Joder gracias =)

  • You idiot! Why do you kill her??? [sob]

  • I don't think that he had a choice in the matter. Not because they would have killed him had he refused to do it (although that is true), but because in the end, you can't be something that you are not.

  • No, he has a choice but he is unable to do it. He just care of saving his own ass instead of saving one life. He cannot be free with that attitude.

  • I agree he has a choice, but I don't think so much it was about saving his own ass as it was about, as his leader said, "Do it now while you're still a beast.", he can't let go of who he is because its the only place he feels like he fits in. so he isn't strong enough to give up on his life as a brutal soldier for her.

  • Hmm, I guess it is hard for him. So what happens to him next, is he still a tool for the government?

  • Probably. Either that or an early retirement and honorable discharge to a lonely and disturbed life. At which point he'd have to rebuild his humanity. I think that's another point his leader was making. he said "Do it now while you're STILL a beast" that word still, perhaps, implying that he saw Fuse turning into a human, and becoming less and less able to deny his humanity. He wants to be where he fits in, but it gets harder and harder as in the short space of the movie he kills two young girls

  • dude read the manga it describes a lot about the Cerberus panzer unit and the way they train there soldiers it also explains why they are so loyal

  • oh hes completely a rabid dog on a leash.

  • Way to spoil the end, dipshit.

  • You should usually expect it when you watch a AMV. there is a huge change of a spoiler.

  • Only when some selfish dipshit makes it. Atleast when it normaly happens, they list it as having spoilers.

  • *spoilers*

    there

  • @ElZomboFantasma Here's a tip if you don't want to see spoilers watch something you've seen before.

  • pare KILLZONE

  • jinroh is awsome

  • JIN ROH!!!!!!!! mg42s r awesome, jinroh is awesome.

  • this is beyond incredible. i am on the hunt for the creme de la creme of amv's, and you have a very nice piece. a very symbolistic piece, indeed. it really does reflect the dark aspects behind jin-roh. superbo job, man. just superbo.

listen to my amv rant. it's short, but it really does separate great amv creations such as this to crappy makeshift jargon floating around youtube. you know what i'm talking about.

  • This is an awesome AMV it is made of Win and Cool

  • Admitingly this is the only good AMV I have ever seen on here.

  • It's funny you should mention that. I'm not much of an AMV fan myself either, there are one or two I like, but I never even thought of this as an AMV for some reason. It just never hit me, it's so well done.

  • I have to agree with you on that, cause I never thought of this as a AMV as well.

  • jin roh = helgasht

    anime and vide game

  • The alternate universe that Jin Roh occours in was first concieved in 1986, with Jin Roh coming in 1999. Not only did this particular part of the saga predate the Helgast by five years, but the idea and armor designs are almost the sire to the Killzone games by twenty years.

Gurellia Games has even admitted that they got the idea for the look from the Kerberos saga, and heavy Nazi armor in WW2 (which was the inspiration for the armor in the Kerberos saga as well.)

  • Not only that. Guerrilla games in Netherlands right next to Germany. Germany got the Hellhounds: Panzer Cops (the series Jin-Roh was based on) in 1996. Netherlands was probably introduced to that manga later.

  • nop jin-roh

    was first than killzone

  • Where I can see this anime? Please don't tell me go see on crunchy roll

  • wats the freggin credit SONG!???? its really cool

  • It's by the Basement Jaxx, Broken Dreams.

  • So is this a movie, or a tv series?

    Cause this looks amazing.

  • It's a movie, a kick ass movie!

  • movie wats it cald

  • Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade

  • i think you should have added the sound for when her body landed on the ground, along with the gunshot before it. otherwise, very well done

  • kind of reminded me of killzone

  • The makers of Killzone admit to using the Kerberos Panzer Cop design as a basis for the Helgast.

  • Killzone stole the idea for their troops from this.

  • whast up with the pop song in the end?

  • Just some credit music.

  • you guys should see the video on youtube with jin roh and german rock. type in "jin roh zerstoren" in the address bar and theres only one vid so check it out its awsome.

  • awesome

  • hey these soldiers look like the ones from enemy territory with the adreline that makes their eyes red.

the gas masks. the helmets and mg42!!!

    i think those are copys!

  • the First Kerbaros Movie 'Red Spectacles' came out in 1986 accompained second movie in 1990 called 'Stray Dog' and Jin-Roh in 1999 (in Japan)along with it's own comic series called Panzer Cops: Hell Hounds

all of which had the glowing eye's gas masks and MG machingun (Red Spectacles they had MG-34's and the rest of the movies they had MG-42, not sure about the comics)

so unless Enemy Territory came out before 1986. Then I'd say they copied from Mamoru Oshii

  • Red Spectacles came in 1987.

  • Did he shoot her at the end? :)

  • Spoiler Alert:

    yes

  • i thought that other guy did in the house looking at them with a luger

  • No, that's what i thought too but he shot her, it explains that after in the movie. (By the way, that's a mauser c-96, not a luger)

  • it's a mauser...

  • i don´t think they like it, but it´s easyer to understand if they a picture language that most people understand. Even Star Wars does it, with it´s Storm Troopers and the way the empires generals are dressed, as well as Darth Vader and the Emperor.

But Mangas have some common themes that are appearing again and again, so in my oppinion you can see interests but mostly Japanese fears, like the nuclear strike in many Mangas.

  • I love jin-roh style soldiers, with the red eyes and whatnot. Does anyone else notice that those appear to be German MG-42 machineguns that the soldiers are using?

  • yup this film has a kinda nazi hint to it, the helmets are based on the ww2 german helmets aswell, what makes this anime so special

  • well the helmets are the same shape exactly and they also cary MG34's and MG42's, both german heavy machine guns. i don't know why? :S

  • It's because the story takes place in an "alternative history" Japan in the sixties (or was this fifties?). In this alternative, it was nazi Germany, not USA, that A-bombed Japan, and then occupied it. Therefore in this story there is a strong German influence in the post-war Japanese society, like USA influenced Japanese society after WW2 in real life.

  • they are like the helghast heil helghan! lol

  • Killzone copied Jin-Roh almost completely.

  • I totally agree with you, Jdollag! The music perfectly goes with the presentation. Does someone know the artist's name?

  • .....the rolling stones

  • thank you!!!

  • its done by the same director as ghost in the shell, dark storyline, the music goes along perfect with it

  • actually thats only partly true. Hiroyuki Okiura was the director. he had worked on Oshii films, but this was his first work as director. The story however is in the same universe as Red Spectacles and Stray dog, which were made and directed by Oshii.

  • Wow. where can you find this anime i never heard of it untill now.

  • Check some bittorrent sites, they have everything.

  • ok thx

  • I love this movie!

  • japanese

  • Wow, I have to find this anime now. Is it Japanese or Korean?

  • I don't know. But thank you all for the nice comments.

  • That´s is fu++ing awesome !!!!

Super song , mega anime! Cool MG 42 ! 5*

  • AWESOME! :D

he armor to me reminded me of WW armor, but it's also strongly reminded me of Samurai armor. :D Awesome armor.

  • I've said it before but this is the best song ever written and the vid goes nice with it, not quites as good as the twisted metal black, but damn nice

  • awesome vid. 5 stars

  • anyone know the the name of the song at the end?...plz let me know if u do ...

  • Basement Jaxx is the artist, I forget the song title.

  • thx a lot man even though i still cant find the song but atleast now i know who sings it...even though i dont know the name of the song....-_- XD

  • Its called "paint it black" by Rolling stones ;)

  • paint it black --by Rolling stones

  • real cool clip good work and i like this song i heared it in Twisted Metal Black but at the end i hate it this ending with the credits better no sound dude ^^

  • Great song and even better movie.

I got the feeling it has some scences the german version doesn't have but not 100% sure on this.

Only thing I didn't like was the music with the credits - kinda woke me up from a dreamy trance if you get what I mean :P

  • yeah i get what you mean about the credits. Other than that SUCK A KICKASS VIDEO thank you~

  • I love this song and I loved this movie.

  • killzone koo

  • this isnt killzone, its what killzone was based on

  • Are you serious? I didn't know that game was based off of Jin Roh.... awesome...

  • wel not jus jin roh but the whole series, and yea it is kool

  • Killzone is not based on Jin Roh. They may have a similar design for it's soldiers, but it's by no means based on it. They just both are heavily influenced from WW2 era German get ups.

  • ur right about the jin roh but they are based upon the kerberors protect gear storylines completly different the red glasses the helmet the guns the brutal tactics all come from WW2 so they were based on WW2 but the designs were based on the kerberos protect gear storylines completly diferent

  • yeah only the chracter designs are similar, nothing more nothing less

  • im addicted to this amv....

  • its a very depressing movie. there are some live action side-stories too, directed by the guy who did the Ghost in the Shell movies. I own one of them, called "The Rose Spectacles". However, it only has the suit in it for about 4 minutes and the rest of the movie is kind of a surreal journey. not quite what i wanted.

  • umm would u know where i could watch it without buying it, cause i have no clue where to buy it or watch it on internet

  • Right here on Youtube! Find videos by a user named prizax, he has uploaded the entire film in 11 parts...

  • I really like this kind of animation, but the point is that is not for kids, thats why i like it, well I just say enjoy it as I do...

  • kick ass this amv rocks

  • This song went really good with the story wonderful job

  • im really interested in seeing this anime, for its looks like it has plenty of action, gore, i heard good things about it, and it inspired killzone, just look at his gun, but im a little sceptic about wheather of not it has a deep story or not...

  • It's a good movie. I saw it once a while back, but I enjoyed it.

  • The story's brilliant! It's very meathporic. It's not just a shoot um up, ya know what I mean. It's actually kinda tragic, but a beautfuil achievement all the same. You definitely should see it.

  • look at the mask, i mean they MUST have gotten the rights to it sumhow XD they look almost exactly the same

  • It was a homage to the Kerbros(I butchered it) Saga .

  • Haha, nice to hear one of the best rock bands.. One of the things that I'm glad about living in Canada for. Well, there's no where else I'd rather be- well maybe but only for vacation.

  • Excellent AMV. Wha's the song at the End Credits?

  • Wow, that was pretty damn good. 5/5.

  • BEYOND GODLIKE!!!

  • Oh my God! This is awsome!

  • great movie great song great vid that simple

  • Wow awesome video! Great anime and song! =P

  • hey great vid...keep up work

  • yo that cartoon looked cool and the first thing that came to mind was killzone when i seen thouse guys or just one guy?
