Somehow I became corrupted when hypermode was turned OFF. I was on Bryyo (trying to destroy anti-air cannons to destroy the Western energy signature) and I had just finished killing a phazon-enhanced space pirate to the south entrance and exited out of hypermode then 5 seconds later Samus randomly screams and faints then I see this corruption scene. Does anyone know what happened or was it just a glitch?

That happened to me to. I was on the first air cannon and I was under it pulling the ump down to shot the fuel gel and I was suddenly corrupted and before I could shoot it off she doed. O_o

I love the effects the corruption in her body takes on her physical appearance- the darkening of her suit, glowing parts, and even the effects on her body- if you look closely enough when you can see her reflection in the visor, you can see her irises turn electric blue and sclerae turn black... if you look at her eyes here, you can tell one eye is changed. It was brilliant the way they showed it.

As you get further in the game you beat more corrupted bosses and Samus gets corrupted more turning her suit to a darker coler. Also if you look under her visor after a seed boss fight, she looks darker looking.

**PART 1**: The "hyper-ball", is a thing from Metroid Prime 2, but you can only get it when you are playing in the "multiplayer/vs. mode", as a *pick-up*, as well as other stuff, like "Hacker Mode". I wish that they could have made MP3 for Gamecube, as well, since that would be the ONLY WAY, that I'd be able to play it, unless my family wins the lottery, or some *miracle* like that, happens...

No. In Metroid Prime, Samus couldn't touch or walk on Phazon until later in the game when she faced the Omega Pirate. After she beat it, the Pirate fell on top of her, infusing her suit with Phazon.

In MP3 on the planet Norion, Samus n the other hunters tried 2 turn the defense cannon, but Dark Samus came n shot all of them. A month later, Samus wakes up and the nurse tells her that her body is self-generating phazon.

The only reason why Samus is surviving on Phazon is because she's been given the Phazon Emhancment Device, or P.E.D. suit.

Her body is a self-generating phazon, meaning she has phazon in her veins and can absorb it 4 health and energy. The other hunters have the P.E.D. suit, but they have been corrupted by Dark Samus. Samus, however, has been resisting corruption and that's how she's surviving on it.

The huge catapillar is the Leviantan. The Leviantan is kinda like a Phazon bomb. Once it implants into a planet, it will form a shield around it and will effect the whole planet with Phazon. If someone or something doesn't destory it, the planet will be corrupted.

The huge Phazon blast that Samus lets out is 2 destory the Leviantan and cure the planet from corruption. Once she obtains a new weapon 4 hypermode, she has 2 let out all of the excess phazon in order 2 stay alive.
