Even so, I don't know if I could say that was their decision. :\ Maybe that's just how Madhouse animates these days, or maybe it was to make him easier to draw. His pompadour collapsed at this point in the manga, too, and many of the important frames in this fight - like the two-arms KO prediction - look exactly like they did in the comic.

You could be right, I guess, but I don't think I'd jump to that.
