@cassehbbz My Thoroughbred raced 22 or 23 times, and would've raced more, but he broke his leg . . . I didn't own him at the time. He raced under the name American Quail. He won twice, got a couple seconds and thirds. He lost a rider at the gate once . . . . He's 16HH and without a doubt, fragile.

@cassehbbz Well, he actually rebroke the same bone in the same leg shortly before he turned 13. He only ran in claiming races, but he has the pedigree of a champion. He was up in Level 1 when he broke his leg the second time. My mom rode him then, but now, I just ride him. All we do is walk and trot, and right now, he's nibbling on grass. I'd prefer trying to teach him some Western Pleasure, but his back's all messed up from racing. But he's a good horse. What's your Thoroughbred like?
