Very nice. The extended intro was especially good. Cain is an exceptional keyboardist. I think all of Journey's replacements for Perry have each been very talented singers in their own right. Nevertheless, I think the fact that they each have had a similar vocal quality to Perry's just goes to show how distinct and inseparable his voice is from their music. The continuing members of Journey have certainly recognized that and have strived to keep their sound intact touring without Perry.

This s the closest to Perry. When it comes to ballads, Augeri has Arnel beaten. Beautiful bass tones. People are still nostalgic for Perry because there's a wholeness in his vocals that encapsulates the carefreeness of 70's
I love this man's voice, far better than Arnel, and different to Perry's. Arnel sounds a lot like Perry but he lack's of control on his own voice and breathe. Anyway, I don't care much about who sings as long as the masterminds of Journey are still there makind amazing songs.
I think what we all really want is to relive the original Journey line up when Perry was with them like we saw them in concert in the 80's with our hottie next to us when we were younger. So the other Steve looked very close to Perry and the Filipino sounds closer to Perry, but only the original Steve singing with the group would make us 100% happy again. You can't have everything I guess, so we will just have to be happy with what we have now....unless a miracle happens and Perry makes a comeb
Steve Perry is great, Augeri is doable, Arnel Pineda is great in his own way. If you could bring another person in to try to be exactly the same is impossible. Arnel is similar that he can hit the high notes with different characteristic. The question we hate to hate singers like Augeri and Pinda is that we want them to be the original - How about you? Hmmm, he looked very sexy @3:54! Frankly, he looks like Steve Perry. The nose is the same. It's basically straight hair for Perry and curly hair for Augeri. I like them both, Soto and Pineda. Pineda, being young, energetic and with great pipes is a perfect replacement. No one else could do the job; so he's just there to keep Journey alive. It is the entire JOURNEY that we all love, past and present; not just Pineda.

Pineda is a good replacement. I just wish he would quit jumping around and doing split kicks, and I wish his diction was better. Good singer though, he is NO Steve Perry. Perry at his PRIME was untouchaable, by ANYONE!!

Some of his verse phrasing is oddly paced in the beginning but the chorus and his tone are spot on. Sad to see him out of the band.

see, THIS is a band, with or without steve perry. these people play the shit out of their instruments, they dont need auto tuning and everything you hear is made by a humans raw skill and practice. i have no respect for rappers with their looped beats and auto tuning, i could give a shit less about them. you think anyone will remember gucci mane in 20 years?? i bet journey will still be goin strong though

Hmmm, he looked very sexy @3:54! Frankly, he looks like Steve Perry. The nose is the same. It's basically straight hair for Perry and curly hair for Augeri. I like them both, Soto and Pineda. Pineda, being young, energetic and with great pipes is a perfect replacement. No one else could do the job; so he's just there to keep Journey alive. It is the entire JOURNEY that we all love, past and present; not just Pineda.

Steve Augeri is the original singer for Journey, then they went with Soto for awhile, then picked up Perry, if anyone who is a true fan of Journey would know this stuff. It's funny how most don't.
