1. Wouldn't a noisy random noise generator force the people having the conversation to speak louder, thus making them more audible? 2. Couldn't a wiretapper use a bandpass filter to dial out the majority of the random noise frequencies to cut through to the vocal frequencies (say, cutting everything below 200hz and above 800hz)? There would still be some noise to deal with, but I'd think it would be intelligible.
From what I know, to the person recording this, everything was silent. But, since the camera is the recording device, when they played the tape back, the camera picked the noise up
why would i pay for a noise maker when i can just blast my own sounds over the speaker!

@bricology very true an easier way is just to use somethin g the picks up hte bugs frequencies or use a RF jammer. or EMP
