How could anyone call slash a low rate guitar player. There are not many people better at improvising blues rock solos than slash. This camparision is impossible and silly. Both are great at what they do. Slash does bluesy melodic solos with great precision and kirk Hammet sheds out face melting pentatonic based metal solos. Slash was a Heroin addict not a coke head but who cares, Jimmy page did Heroin and he is a god. Really the only amazing possibly clean guitarist I can think of is jack white
