why oh why depict human drivers? it would have been a helluva lot more effective had the lights gone out and the last person left then the trucks come to life aka toy story, cars, herbie etc. this just look like a bunch of hoodlums on a joyride.

Well I don't agree with your last sentence, I still think the ad works and is still a very "feel good" advert. But I completely agree it would have been even better if they had depicted the trucks as if they had come to life on their own, with no humans.
