  • You;ve heard this 1,000 times, but your enthusiasm is infectious. I;m 35, and I've been listening to Hip-Hop since I was 8. Your scholarship has brought me so much closer the this music and its nuances. Thank you. Btw, my favorite find from your videos was Grace Jones's "My Jamaican Guy." I play that on the way to work 4 times a week.

  • Thanks a lot, I am hoping someone out there watches youtube.

  • Why don't you apply for your youtube partnership? you've got more than enough views and subscripers... and being a partner will make your videos more accessible by people that wouldnt usually search for samples... making you more popular and giving you more opportunities to be more successful.

  • @funktuall That Sugarhill Gang sample was also used

in the song Love Don't Love You by EnVogue, from the Funky Divas album.

  • P.S: Great Episode as usual, I get lots of positive vibe from this show my friend. Good inspiration.

  • Wanna reach the loose heads? Play a few samples like Rihanna - SOS = Tainted love

Madonna also sampled ABBA on her latest album. Gimme! gimme! gimme!..

Then a few moments later Britney Spears jumped on the lyrics.

I think its funny, not worthy of this show but it goes on to show sampling has been the best friend of many many artists.

Even Janis Joplin sampled Elvis's guitar at some point. Its all about influence from our past.
