Is that the high output cherakee, I have one Myself, a 02 overland. There are 2 v8s in the jeep, one has 235 horse with 295 pounds tq and the one i have has 270 horse with 330 pounds tq, I eat up any camery they make stock. Maybe the person in this vid can drive that camery better. But I have beat stangs, a 300 zx none turbo, A civic si, and my best match up to me was a 95 Imapla ss, My jeep is quick but not that fast on the highway, shuts out at about 115, Good vid, make some more

I saw the video... There were no video for the Buggati accelerating... Just figures... So, I was not convinced with that video... Also, I feel there is something wrong with the video... The video shows the 2 cars at the begining then a cover of a magazine then an acceleration of a car that you can't know which car is that not mentioning that you can't see the car's speedometer, just an added speedometer to the video then finally the final figures that you don't know where they come from...

to be fair, the Jeep weighs a lot more than the Camry. And the 3.5 has VVT-i, and dohc, while the 4.7 has constant valve timing and pushrods. High horsepower numbers vs. stump-pulling torque and simplicity in engineering. That's one hell of a family-haulin' V-6, though, don't get me wrong.

if the jeep had a few engine mods it could win. you don't race bikes against car so y race SUV against sports cars if there not in the same area of performances.

as far as a waste of money i agree cause for hauling shit around there are many more economical and faster vehicles around, although the v8 models arent exactly slow, theyre not the fastest by a long shot, as far as limited off road capability, im afraid i gotta disagree on that, i had some all-terrain tires on a 2wd 2000 grand cherokee...and ive had to pull people in 4x4's out of stuff i just went through, if you know how to drive, and you got good tires..theyre one of the best off road
