This is one of my favourite variations from a ballet EVER. I feel that svetlana Zakharova performs this wonderfully!!! Her sense of performance quality is excellent which compliments her strong technical side.I love her mannerisms she uses with her face and her head. It truely finishes off the performance. What beautiful extensions!!! This is a dancer i would love to see perform live.
Such rhythm and movement Svetlana gives in every dance she does. Although, i must say she has been trained by fabulous teachers and coaches!! I would like to see her progress further & further!!!
this really is the russian style... really dynamic, but somehow, it therefore lacks in sincereness and in the cleanliness of the movements.. It's just too much. I prefer Isabelle Guérin's nikiya for this part. But Svetlana really is a great dancer, especially for more contemporary roles, like In the Middle somewhat elevated where she was FABULOUS !
Does anyone know what the variation is called after she gets bit, and where I can find it?

she is fantastic, but in my opinion this variation looks better with Irina Kolesnikova
