what i really want to know is how can some day-traders trade amounts so low like $12 or $10 repeatedly all day buying and selling with the same amount. i mean it would cost that much in fees to do trades so low like this. how can they do it

The trade fees are a lot lower for accounts with more movement from what I've read.

The fees depend on the broker of your choice. Different brokers have different fee structures.

@InformedTrades nice- "brightarse" needs to travel ...thank you for your videos, they are very informative and educational, im a new trader with about 3 months experience, i started out with 1500 usd trading on the forex market using forex metal, in the space of three weeks i had 16k usd, which was great, i thought im going to be wealthy, but then the euro crashed on the third of feb and im back to 1700 usd aka the drawing board, i was wondering if i can email you with some questions sometime?
