  • @WoOSprintCars all extreme sports are dangerous

  • @WoOSprintCars what do you race and where?

  • what was the last one?

  • RIP to all those who have lost their lives doing what they love. I love to watch the racing, but we must never forget, it really is a dangerous sport, even with the excellent safety features racers have today.

  • R.i.P. Dan Wheldon

    R.i.P. Marco Simoncelli

  • RIP Dan Wheldon

  • downthumbed for user's name

  • I was 14 when I saw my hero Senna crash on tv and I remember that day as no other. Seeing this movie makes clear how much is done for the safety of the drivers and audience. Still, im 31 now, I'm crying ...

  • 5:07 most definitely before the H.A.N.S came into existence watch his head

  • atleast greg moores crash most likely killed him instantly

  • i do you tit

  • It still amazes me that Geoff Bodine wasn't killed. That crash was one of the worst I've ever seen.

  • 10:10 ... was he decapitated?

  • @garmanx23 sure looks like it, helmet just falls out of the cockpit, and it looks like just a stump is left

  • @WoOSprintCars

This video just makes more ppl wonna see crashs.

  • the song is: Don't Bother They're Here

  • what race is the last flip from?

  • 8:04 SPARE!

  • @Secarius17 I hope you have a slow, painful death. Hopefully involving your genitals.

  • nossa!.........

  • I cryed

  • Wow

  • Thank you for making such a beautiful tribute to those who just wanted to entertain the rest of us, and paid the ultimate price doing what they love.

  • @WoOSprintCars Very well put.

  • i never see in germany such scenes.oh my god.and i know for sure.they just want to entertain us,with just what they loves.RIP all of you.i know a lots of names.thx, for doing it this kind way.remember me at lots o them.

  • its like ayrton senna (Peace be with him ) once said, if he was ever to have a big one, he would want it to end there and then. he said he did not want to survive to then be paralysed and no longer be able to race. he wanted to live life fully, not partially, and racing was how he lived his life. all drivers know what they strap themselves in for, and its from these accidents that we can learn from and make our sport safer. God bless all the drivers that lost thier lives doing what they loved!

  • makes me think about racing, and its all horrible and i know what im signing myself up for when i get in the car, but they passed away doing what they love to do

  • They all understood the risks doing a job they liked.

  • thumbs up to all who died doing what they loved.

  • driver Frank Biela who crashed into the cockpit side of Keith O'dor is a complete muppet. Not only did he have enough time (as a result of a clear track between him and Keith's car), but he should have had the common sense to slow down...

I hope Frank Biela hangs his head in shame for the rest of his live.

  • @Sphinxno1 You can see just before the impact he locks the brakes up. When he first saw Odor's car it was on the right side of the road but it drifted to the middle of the road. Frank's first impulsion was too slam on the brakes, which is what most people do on the road. It was a racing accident. Frank didn't set out to T-Bone Keith.

  • @6:00, that wasnt the biggest wreck in nascar. at daytona in 1959, there was a 37 car pileup...

  • @anthony2154 The biggest in 'modern' NASCAR history, that is, since 1970ish

  • @wattafan ah, thanks

  • thats so SAD r.i.p

  • when u say the crash is "fatal".. does that mean the driver died? cuz thats just... terribly sad

  • @jordenetter yes the ones marked fatal meant the driver died

  • was cornerworker injured in his crash with krosnoff?

  • can i know the name of the song please? thanks

  • perfect music from " stars of the lid"

  • now alex zanardi have metal legs and he is raly racer

  • Comment removed

  • 7:47 i got an idea--let's stand RIGHT NEXT to a race track with NO FENCE. ok, great idea.

  • @pilgrim144 its called rally mate. you should look into it. and as your there look into Group B and why it was cancelled

  • Hard to believe that some of the men just walked away from some of these wrecks. Sad that some died. Very good video.

  • perfect soundtrack!

  • We know that sooner or later someone is going to be either seriously injured or killed. It's similar to those who ride motorcycles. They claim that they're prepared to pay the ultimate price, and are if they don't survive. But it's really a tragedy for those who survive and their loved ones. I really wonder whether racing it worth it?!

  • Great Video and great music :-) Thanks for uploading mate!

  • ... the music is mood-perfect for 'Requiem for a Driver'...

  • 4:18

  • Welcome to the real racing, make from heroes. RIP

  • wow, that 1rst racecar gets fucked up!!!!!!!!

  • thats what i was thinking it looked like the driver got decapitated

  • soooo...was the last one fatal?

  • @afterglo0w he was paralysed i think

  • @afterglo0w no

  • Styefan Bellof's crash looked like a cut a rear tire or something, the back end just jumped out on him it looked like. How was that one fatal though, it looked like he was moving around in the cockpit ok...did he die later from injuries or something?

  • @msullivan85 It was the other car, the one that was on fire. Thats where Bellof was.

  • @Bushby23 ahh ok i see, it wasnt Bellof's in-car we were watching, thats a little confusing. Thanks for the response

  • @msullivan85 yeah, it was out of the car of jacky ickz

  • u are playing SEND IN THE EFFING CLOWNS to this video???

  • 7:47 - Ok, I'm sorry, but why do they let those people so close?

  • 9:16 what happened? did something break?! and why the hell didnt that driver at 9:48 NOT to hit the blue car?! -.-

  • @xXxENTExXx i guess he couldn't break in time to slow & avoid!

  • @xXxENTExXx It's in slow motion so it's not entirely apparent, but O'dor slides back onto the track and by that time, it's too late for that white car to correct.

  • @xXxENTExXx And to answer your first question, yes, the suspension went out completely.

  • @thespainisharmada well thanx ^^ both answers seem logic..and by the way... nice video, shows the risk each racer has to take, or however i say, sry im german, actually im waitin for the movie SENNA ;D

  • @xXxENTExXx I agree. I love this video. Don't worry about your English. It's way better than my German. I do speak a bit. It's where my ancestors came from.

  • Weird not seeing Dale Earnhardt;s or Aryton Senna's fatal crashes, either way, very, very sad. I pay my repects.

  • his head is severed off at 4:45

  • @palestineoliver wow thats deep, palestine boy

  • this is a fabulous video. shows how brave the drivers are. Why is ARYTON SENNA not in it?

  • With small crashes like bumping into the wall, I would laugh my ass off, if a sall crash is caused by another racer, I would lmao, but this stuff isn't funny...

    2:47 HOLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

  • With small crashes like bumping into the wall, I would laugh my ass off, if a sall crash is caused by another racer, I would lmao, but this stuff isn't funny...

  • Hey RedzDevilz where did you get this music from. Plays perfect with this, because it plays out like you would see in a movie. Email the name of the song to me. Thanks

  • Did he die at 1:58

  • @Glibzer No He Survived He Got Really Lucky Too.

  • @Glibzer That is Tom Sneva's crash in 1974, he won the 1983 Indy 500. A dead man can't race.

  • Auto Racing is the best sport but when it come to is side of racing and listening to people say "The best part are the crashes" I just what to hit that person. I watch racing for the racing. R.I.P to all who dead in racing doing what they love.

  • at 4:46 is that his body laying there?

  • @Kabowa10 sadly, yes

  • At least they were doing what they love...

  • This almost made me cry and im not even a girl and the music fits perfect so it makes it even more sad and rest in peace to all those who died in what they love to do. R.I.P.

  • @bigt1nyhatch P.S. This video isn't about the music. So mute it and play your own if it's that big of a deal.

  • @RedzDevilz If its not about the music, why put it on?

    use original audio eh?

  • @bigt1nyhatch You're a close minded idiot...maybe you would prefer Miley Cyrus music!? The music adds a somber, sobering effect to the video, which I think the poster of this video meant it to be.

  • @5thSSVikingDiv I do not know what kind of music Miley sings though I'm sure it's nice and I'm impressed that a 48 year old man does know. Seems a little creepy to me. BTW nice punctuation!?

  • Comment removed

  • @bigt1nyhatch You must have syphilis. The music made this video perfect. Sublime.

  • @LewisHamilton1991 ?? there is only 4 clips that are NASCAR. It's not about the fact that someone is hurt or not it's the sight of the wrecks and the fact that most of these drivers survived them is amazing.

  • @RedzDevilz i think he ment oval racing as a whole.

  • @RedzDevilz You're doing a great job! Very well done, great music and very touching video. Keep up the great work.

  • @LewisHamilton1991 Obviously you are not a driver!

  • SO Ronnie Peterson was not only killed by the track officials starting way too early, but by mindless surgeons. Was it the operation on his legs that he died of, or was it the flames. If it was the legs, that's ridiculous cause Johnny Herbert had a big crash in F3000 and messed up his ankles/legs that bad, it made a marshal vomit, and he survived to drive in F1

  • RIP

  • 3:20 Jerry Cominto's legs are sticking out of the car!!!

  • @atirisdes And what the fuck is your problem? Have some compasion, good nature, some kindness, repect. Or please, fuck off. I think I speak for anyone who came here to mourn when i say that.

  • At least they died what they loved doing. Every race car driver knows the dangers that come with this sport, and that one mistake on the track could cost your life....but that just shows how much dedication and love they have for their sport. Even though they know the dangers, they are still out there giving it all on the race track. That's nothing short of amazing

  • 4:52 Philippe Alliot was TOTALLY UNHARMED!!! Unbelievable!!!

  • 7:17 nascar pickups which is the american version of V8 utes australia. horrific accident

  • you chose a good soundtrack for the video.

also good that you wrote who the drivers were and what the crash resulted in.

i dont know if its worth dying doing what you love or making it safe until you will die anyway.. someday

  • all these guys who died, did so doing what they loved the most. u can crash in a car at 10 mph and die or crash at 250mph and survive. There's no give. If i had the chance to race like these guys i'd snap up the chance, if i died then it's tough. All the drivers know the risk it's just bad turns of events that cause these freak happenings. Great video, it takes balls to do something like this and u did it well.

  • @MafLee yep, i think the most at risk have to be motorbike riders, they have a very big chance of hitting another rider/bike, being hit by someone, or land very badly. The latest in MotoGp/Moto2/125CC was Shoya Tomizawa, very talented and likeable rier, died at the age of 19 at Misano, San Marino

  • 1:10 How can you survive THAT?

  • @Austria4ever1000 that was near fatal cuz his spinal cord broke in half but i dunno for sure but he did survive that crash

  • @Austria4ever1000 Kenny Brack was exposed to as far as i know the highest G-Force ever experienced in a racing crash. He Never raced again. But when i watched this crash live wiht my racing friends we all thought he was dead for sure.

  • 08:08

  • 08:08

  • 3:25 look his legs :o who dont see thumbs UP

  • 5:56 is not the biggest nascar wreck the one in the old days knocked out 38 of the 43 cars

  • @1hardycena IT SAYS MODERN NASCAR HISTORY. Learn to read dumbass.

  • @MrBv256 well i missed that i ain't no dumbass

  • the last crash looked like the guy survived that but got a terrible shock

  • 03:21 , holy sh*t man

  • 10:00 Proof that you can't really destroy a Volvo.

Compared to all the other cars this Volvo only has it's side dented.

  • @ecchibanzaii ...and a dead man inside of it. Not very comforting.

  • @ecchibanzaii I crashed my Volvo into a concrete and steel barrier wall doing 75-80 mph on the interstate....an idiot came over into my lane and clipped me, and off I went. Anyway, that car saved my life. I went to the ER by ambulance more for observation than anything else, only had minor injuries. You are right, those cars are like mini-tanks. I got another one :~)

  • 7:46 did any1 die? That looks terrible. And by "fatal" do you mean deadly?

  • at 1:13 i was at that race.. it was pretty bad even from the front stretch.

  • could there be a rails in drag racing? You're not gonna steer that thing anyway, so why not make it travel on rails?

  • @ZZombyWooff Then whats the point of having a driver? plus watch some incar of drags... they actually have to steer alot.

  • @600sprint97 well the point of having a driver; he drives the car. yea they steer a lot: that's brings me an idea: could there be a rails in drag racing? to concentrate to drag racing, not steering.

  • I wonder if cartman where driving the last nascar scene

  • images terribles.............

  • i hate to see people get killed, and i know it's a drivers passion but it's still hard to watch, i feel for all the families, loved ones and fans(we love them too) RIP

  • @palestineoliver these people choose to do this yes.. Its their calling if you will I feel just as bad seeing one human die as any other. So dont give me that I feel more sorry for so and so shit. Pay your respects or fuck off. RIP

  • Dude fuck you, its not like theyre idiots for doing it, they do it because its there passion, that like saying your a scientist so idc if you die doing that because u choose to do it

  • 2:20 omg it just exploded. i'd rather die like that then painful though.

  • really nice vid, keep the work up !!

  • life is dangerous in every way... in this moment a plane could crash into your house, sounds stupid but its true. the fact is, that these guys had ended their lifes while doing something they love an life for...racing is more than a sport.... its just so sad that the thing you love most ist the think thar killes you (in these cases)... r.i.p to all the brave drivers who lost their lives in racing an best whishes to their families...

  • Wow

  • honestly thats where the adrenaline comes from. wouldnt be as intense if it wasnt life threatening.

I feel much much safer in the race car going all out with the rollcage and big thick belts holding you in place than simply driving on the highway. I race for the love of racing and not just the thrill of taking the car to the edge if not over sometimes.

  • Very appropriate music.

  • You know...next time you want to go down and watch a race up close, watch this video from 6:34 or 8:00 and watch those wreaks. Watch all the people get caught in the crashs and the explosions. I don't think any of them ever had to sign waivers. It's ironically sad how the deaths of the drivers are glorious, but the deaths of the people caught in the crashes aren't. This isn't the side of racing they show on TV every day.

  • Thats the most retarded statement I have ever heard. People choose to drive on the roads with a lot less safety precautions.

  • RIP Gilles Villeneuve, Ayrton Senna and all those who died fulfilling the intense desire we all have within us...

  • WHATS THE NAMEOF THIS SONG?...LOVED IT

  • gonzalo rodriguez rip :S

  • the big wreck at 5:20 wasnt even near fatal, im pretty sure everyone walked away unhurt.

  • just another case to ban us motor sport its just not safe!!! do it properly or dont do it at all

  • @swompy001 like to see u drive near 200mph properly ...........fag

  • R.I.P. Gilles Villeneuve, Greg Moore

  • at 4:37 did he fly out of the car.

  • @BobbyRossRacing93 yes that was gilles villeneuve, he was thrown across the track into the fancing

  • Who was the last Driver..?

  • isnt gilles villeneuve a track?

  • Yep, it is

  • make more

  • lmao

  • damn that chicane of laguna circuit!! DAMN YOU!!!! (0:35)

  • Did the fans at 7:50 die too?

  • Sad that so many lives have been lost in motor racing. Its part of the sport. I have a favorite Indy car driver and I pray every time he races. I worry about what could happen. Nobody wants to see death in racing. We're family.

  • @palestineoliver People don't choose to crash, on the road or on the track. Doesn't make a difference. Racing is more dangerous in this way. One little mistake can cause a horrible end result. Just as, lets say, someone on the highway making a little mistake. Could end in a horrible result.

  • @RedzDevilz I think what he meant was that people choose to race, not crash. I agree with what you said though.

  • @RedzDevilz

I disagree. People know the risks and they choose to take that risk anyway.

I´m not saying this isnt horrific as you describe it but you can´t say a fatal accident in motorsport isnt a little bit expected

  • People do choose to race - like me. Although I'm not in the full blown 200kph league of racing (120kph in 2nd gear on a small dirt track ftw!) and crashes still hurt and are quite bad. I've got 10 screws in my hands. 5 in each. Been knocked out 3 times. I am only 18 and still racing and love every minute of it. But the fatalities do happen and I have seen 2 fatal accidents in my time racing but we all sign a waiver saying taht what we do is dangerous - and we all know it. None o

  • who was the last one??

  • i have seeing that crash on 4.30

    i was in that turn

    it was really terrible

  • great video mate, so unbelievable that so much good guys are died by this kind of accidents..

    R.I.P.

    sorry for bad english. peace

  • Luckly all the racing has now 100 times better safety.

    R.I.P

  • @The crash of Greg Moore. It's never happened in history that open-wheelers did broke in 2 pieces like that :(

  • WTF?

  • i have known this but WOW....it is amazing how fast and easily a f1 or drag car can fall apart and roll....i like watching crashes but i hate it when people die or get disabled

  • Excellent Video...Great Job

  • Good video! It's actually a decent tribute to the drivers. Other people here have worded it a lot better than I can tho. Good to see others have the respect for these guys as I do.

  • how the fuck did kenny brack surive that

  • very good video. in my opinion i think greg moore took the most devastating hit i've ever seen.

  • Comment removed

  • @ Co0mbia SONO daccordo con te Greg uno Fatto ONU morte di merda , Quel Ragazzo era Campione delle Nazioni Unite, ma purtroppo vanno via Semper i Migliori

  • with keith o'dor's, i always wondered how the driver of the audi, might be frank beila, i'm not sure, didn't just move to his left to avoid the crash. it's such a shame, if o'dor hadn't been british, he'd still be alive. as we drive on the left, our driving seat is on the right of the car, keith couldn't quite get use to driving from the left so nissan europe gave him a right hand drive car, the side that took the impact. by the way, the one after, the volvo btcc crash is kelvin burt, non fatal.

  • Poor !

  • Speed is a thrilling wonderful experience..- till it get out of control.

  • The very last one, who was that and what happened?

  • nascar is the most brutal sport

  • @mrsunny811 not true.

  • If I was to die, I'd want to die doing what I love. If racing was my passion I'd want to die on the track. If fighting fires was what I loved to do, I'd want to die in a burning building trying to save someone. Some people think it's a selfish thing to say, but is it? Why aren't in control of when we will go, but I'd rather go happy. Instead of in a hospital or waiting for. I'd want to be that person you remember smiling on the field of glory.

  • 4:36 Gilles Villeneuve (fatal), 4:55 Phillipe Alliott (non-fatal), 7:34 Mike Harmon (non-fatal, no injuries), 7: 50 Marco Massarotto (fatal, driver (Massarotto) died), 8:22 Styefan Bellof (fatal, in-car was Jacky Ickx) 9: 50 Kieth O'dor (fatal).
