I was just asking a genuine question. I was trying to just further eloborate a dialogue here to increase my comprehension to the intention of your original meaning. It is very esoteric, if one thinks the images underneaththe images hide more content. But good or bad, what I like about art is that, it's all about opinion. Even if one person doesn't like or comprehend it completely, it's their own opinion and their entitled to that. Art creates opinion and imagination, it defines us.
So, even if you don't get that "me eating the key symbolized distancing myself from humanity and society", it doesn't matter in my perspective. It made you think about it in some way and that matters to me...
The first question I would ask you is why did you choose this song?
Obviously one can conclude that it has meaning connotated to your feelings. But still underneath the "obvious" lie multiple facets. And there is signification at tears. I wonder what these tears represent? Happiness? And then is happiness something you and I can agree on?
the concept of the video was that the loss took hold of her and she began to let the world go. she let go of her heart, her voice, and her sanity. because she was so fearful of more loss, you closed herself off. with the solitude she forced herself into, she became inhuman. i believe that when a person is so cut off from society, love, and other people emotionally or physically, they become less human. they lose their humanity.
the tears unfortunately meant sorrow :) i know, easy to understand that. it's one of the most basic human reactions. when you feel pain, you cry. at the end, she confuses her emotions (smiles at the very end) and her reactions because she is so removed from who she was and the humanity she had lost.
EXTRAORDINARY. very beautiful. I always loved Arai Akino and I loved this song by her, just the words touched me profoundly before I even heard the song, then I heard the song and saw it was beautiful. This video is an exceptional acting out and it goes so well. Beautiful. This should be featured over the crap that they feautre normally. This is excellent.

i chose the song because it conveyed the hopelessness and the sorrow of the situation. the song is about loss and sadness.
