  • This song is.....so awesome...*___* ♥

  • If it sounds like that, that means you're an americunt putting your stupid shitty labels on everything. Or it's all pure speculation and such. BTW, loosely putting a label on something doesn't mean it is. You can't put make up on an alien and call it a human female. That shit doesn't work and doesn't translate in the real world. Though americunts love to be delusional and live in the fantasy world....

  • More over, visual kei uses a Japanese style of music, taking influence from enka, traditional Japanese music, such. The style of clothing comes from cosplay and Japanese theatrical dressing. The guys back in the 12th century and a little before that, were ONLY allowed to be up on stage. That meant that other guys would play female character roles.

  • O_____O

  • Love it! XD

  • this is nu metal

  • It`s a shame they disbanded. I rly love this song.

  • you can simply call them metal and it's fine, it doesn't need to be super specific, that's kinda the opposite of what genres are used for

  • the drums are super fukin epic o:!

  • my favourite song from them

  • The left guy is a fusion of Gaara Sabakuno and Kakashi Hatake HEHEHE^^

    Great Song!!!

  • its from [Gaula] its called F.O.D (Dots are on the top though. Idk how to put them there)

  • Nah their still together, they have a new album well during May 13th but w/e still their latest. Check it out ------> The Enemy is a good one.

  • but their official website's shedule was stopped at a ' Since1889 Last Live' and was around aug 2009. T^T ...

they all stopped posting on their blogs around that date too D:

  • O_O'' I hope for god you are wrong. ._. They are really good.

  • i also wish im ****ing wrong . they're really .. great T^T ...

  • yes

last live was on august 1st

  • yea..... T^T

  • cooooooooooooolll *_* hammaaa

besser als der andere scheiß XD

  • I hope you all realize how ironic this argument about "Americanization" is when you consider that the band's name is in fact a reference to the 1889 institution of the Meiji constitution.

    TL;DR read history, quit whining.

  • indeed

  • @PancakeDoom so wat ur saying is that, Jrock has been around since 1889?

  • @magma3000

I'm saying that the band's name being a reference to what is considered one of the largest Westernizing influences on Japan illustrates an intent to dissect and examine the interplay between the two cultures, ala Angura Kei.

Also I read an interview with them that listed American emo rock as one of their primary influences.

I hate loving a genre whose fanbase consists of sociologically retarded 12 year olds.

  • ROFL

  • Fxxk, American music is as horror as hell! VK is much better than that. Goddamn

  • Since 1889 is not copying Americans

I live in the USA, and man, the music here sucks. It gets on my nerves that american people are stealing Japanese Fashions and calling it their own and that they "started" it.

J-ROCK is more better than the rock here, believe me. American Metal is now just screaming, pointless guitar shreds, and stupid drummings that are fast which is repeated over time during the song.

J-Rock is more rhythmic, fast like the PIASS, and you could ACTUALLY hear the bass

  • @magma3000 Are you out of your mind, not all Jrock is better than American music, if you ask me almost all Jrock sounds the same. Dont get me wrong Im a fan of both but I mean come on how could you really just compare the two when metal in america & metal in japan are nearly two different things. Try listening to different types of metal before comparing the two.

  • @TheRipp3rx American bands don't sound the same? Why do they make songs aobut killling? Why are some bands religious and still talk shit about Jesus? Why are American band stealing Visual Kei fashion and calling it SCENE? How come American bands write lyrics like they're the Devil's army?

  • @magma3000 Nearly all heavier jrock or jmetal talk about the same thing, except for religion & such. It sounds to me that you've simply been brainwashed into thinking that all metal is bad. Maybe you should just stay away from Deathcore, Emocore, & like black metal & try some post hardcore. Dude, scene isn't a type of music. You shouldnt judge a book by its cover try reading the lyrics before labeling all american music as bad thats all im sayin'.

  • @TheRipp3rx Scene is a type of music. It's like those technoish screaming songs. Uh yeah American bands that have a religion still talk about killing and stuffs. SlipKnoT are the biggest Christians and they still talk shit about Jesus and still have songs, a song that is called PEOPLE=SHIT. Marilyn Manson used to be a huge Christian and still talked a load of crap about Jesus till he got into the Satanic church. Wait, Marilyn Manson was inspired by JROCK.

  • @magma3000 Uhm, I'm pretty sure you're wrong. Lots of American bands are 'good' and not just 'pointless screaming and guitar shreds.'

  • @DanielleBitchFace6 the only American bands that I can stand listening to now, are just the old bands like Jimi Hendrix and Motley Crue and The Darkness

  • @magma3000 The Darkness? Seriously? They're horrible. They make my ear drums bleed. And I don't think they're American. They're like British

  • @DanielleBitchFace6 how can you not like I Believe In Love by The Darkness. That songs is rhythmic, I can understand what the singer is saying, and the guitar solo is what I think a guitar solo should be unlike American bands today when their guitar solos are just fast and pointless noises being played from the bottom strings

  • @magma3000 I agree completely with you. in these aspects and many more America cannot compete.

  • @magma3000 I can sympathize with you, I've been listening to J-rock since I was 7 the same time my favorite band(Dir En Grey) emerged onto the scene. American music has severely degraded into shit. America use to have some decent music but now that's a rarity. I've been a long time fan and promoter of J-rock. Down to the fashion,drive,music/sound the whole entirety of J-rock and it's respective sub-genre's are pure art and beauty, that just keeps getting better and better.

  • i love this band sucks they are disbanding unless they are already disbanded which i think they are

  • No there not there website just came back up.

  • really!? they are coming back . they posted they would be breaking up! so i am so confused

  • its visual kei;) xD

  • u guys keep sayin its lik Metal but its not! its more screamo cuz they inhale when they scream but the bass is more metal

  • WOW o.o

  • i like that song ^^

i think i like them xD

  • Whered you get this song from?

  • ii love this song

  • oo i love it...

  • brutal

  • how did i end up from an cafe to this :P

    i agree with 'BLACKanimebrother'

  • This just so original and amazing, too bad they aren't too famous.

  • pretty fuckin' core. I accept.

  • what kind of metal would this be classified as? Is this considered grindcore?

  • No not grindcore, but i know where you are coming from. Its more like nu-metal i think

  • Comment removed

  • @Kai174

Looks like more deathcore, not nu or grindcore, but its just a style of v-kei ...

  • @Kai174 Japanese bands can not be classified by western genres, its freaking Japanese metal!

  • @Kai174 wouldnt it be like angura kei?

  • @dnah02 Since 1889 can be considered as a Angura KEi band or Eroguro Kei band

  • @dnah02 most people call it brutal kei but idk

  • @dnah02 just visual kei

  • The vocalist is named KOUTA Sugawara..... not Hirota.....

  • thanks, ill change it when i can be arsed

  • this is really good for a mosh pit or a fight

  • Since I heard 5 first seconds I've loved this band... :3 <3 Awesome <33

  • aahahahaha...

  • aw i cldnt find any videos for em...

  • dude where can I get this song at??

  • gosh i love this song

    vocals are just sugoi X3!!

  • badass vocals, although i would like to hear the original voices of them to see if they can actually sing

  • why is there no PV on these guys on youtube? :o

  • the 2nd of the left dont look asian :O

  • They Don't copy The Gazette! Stop with that stupid comments DAMN!

  • Are they disbanded?

  • Wow i so disagree on your opinion.

the gazette is like the best band ever.

the lyrics are freak'n sugoi and the beats are crazy

they have a huge fan - base

    come on their so original

    they never change for anybody

heh i think their awesome and hot

    aren't i right? haha X33

  • why would you say gazette is americanized? explanation please.

  • are you blind they are very americanized

it's not even THAT bad a thing but its true they are very americanized, listen to their old stuff then listen to some of their newer stuff

  • just because their sound changed to a more metal sound doesn't mean that they became "americanized". It just means that the people making the music changed. It's like how people are yelling "sellouts" at AFI cause they changed. Bands change overtime and I personally don't see why people can't accept that.

  • no its not the metal sound.. they just have a very american influenced sound, i dont even care that they do but they do

  • HAHAHAHAHHAHAH are you kidding me?! the GazettE AIN'T NEAR being "Americanized"

What? Since when did JAPANESE BANDS become f*cking Americanized?! HUH? Explain, now. Just because they're changing their music style, doesn't f*cking mean they're Americanized.

  • yeaa i agree im heresy too~*blinking*

they changing their music style coz the word [Major]

They cant become so stupid like that to being americanized,

  • @DyingWithASmile Dir en grey is though, AND IT SUCKS!

  • Respond to this video... Nah for real, it does because they seem so heavily influenced. What happened to being just diru?

  • there is a difference between wapanese/wiaboo and jrock liking,

i like the music, im not obsessed with the country, big dif

  • running around yelling "FREAKIN SUGOI" and "KAWAII DESU NE"

and liking japanese music is different,

i listen to american/canadian music too, music is music

  • Yeah I agree, the GazettE always come up with original stuff, in my opinion they havent changed at all they r fucking awesome

  • how are these guys anything like gazette?

  • i like the GazettE, but have to agree. they aren't ANYTHING like the GazettE.

  • if anything they are more like dir en grey

  • @hisui00nekokifujin: No body said they were, the reason why americunt music sucks is because they WANT to be like every band before them. Japanese bands know, they can't be like any other band before them so they be who the want to be. Themselves. Sure they might like a band, sure they might take a tiny influence. They at least try and differentiate themselves from other bands. This isn't metal crap, grindcore crap, scremo emo crap, or metalcore crap. It's VISUAL KEI. Look it up.

  • @DaisukeKigurou calm down baby. not everybody has your opinion. saying VK is the best is subjective. I myself like some bands but i would save myself from saying that's the best. second, japanese metal isn't defined by VK. i hope you listen to the really good rock/metal from europe, if you hate this you can fuck off.

  • @DaisukeKigurou On another video people were saying they were like the gazette so i looked them. up....i was saying I agreed. Calm your tits....I knwo what Visual Kei is...and its not a genre of music...Its a style of dress. the music is by no means...Visual Kei...their clothing and aprearance is... @donttttt :) high five

  • Awsomely AWSOME

  • god i love this band along with others like Dir en grey Sadie and -OZ- but i HATE how i cant get lyrics ANYWHERE if any one knows of some good places message me please

  • @kris1329 where did u find Enmity.

all i got from OZ is just DETOX and Zenith

  • I have to stop singing this in public! And I so agree with canucount2threeve.
