  • It's been years since I've had experiences like these. I know I've had them but I can't really go back into them. I can't remember the way they felt at the time. Listening to these songs I do reconnect with that place and I get a sense of just how tortuous they were. I mean this as a compliment to the power of your writing and performing. Or maybe your willingness to let us in.

  • @jatrichojas. Thanks my friend, your words really mean a lot.

  • What a GREAT song!! It sounds like there is an organ in this one!! You are the modern day Elton John and James Taylor rolled up into one!! OUTSTANDING!!

  • @coolanddark. Thanks Dan, that's a fantastic compliment, hope you're keeping well brother.

  • Love it! The organ voice adds a wonderful, retro colour to your palette :]

  • @stufish4040. Thanks for your continued support, glad you like the organ! :)

  • I left a most brilliant comment earlier but alas I see it did not post :o( I think I said this song demonstrates how your songwriting has progressed over the past year... oh hell, what I wrote earlier was much better... anyway this was really great Duncan, Lyrically and musically. Love that blusey organ you added. A very nice touch. -Ron

  • Ah Duncan are you breaking up with me? Great song and I can't wait to see your face on camera again, your voice always makes me so happy. Peace and Love to you

  • @choro1981, Haha :) Thank you very much, I'm glad you like my music! Take care.

  • The "shivers down your back" line is terrific. I like how it is phrased as well. The resolve back to the major root in the final line is excellent, a nice contrast to the prior movement and the line itself.

I like how you are making use of the multi-track keys lately, the organ works.

This would definitely work with some more instrumentation.

  • @Oswlek. Thank you Justin, I've always used the multi-track system on my keyboard, though I have rarely uploaded anything containing it, until lately that is. I'm glad you like the song.
