There's also ability to "transform" with other players into a bigger robot :P

The game is set in future. Player assumes role of one of countless "godmasters"(the whole humans syncing with transformers concept from masterforce) and goes through story and the quests involving various characters from canon tv shows :)

you start as simple worker, then you get second form and ability to combine and then third form. Latter on you get ability to combine all three forms into one.

Transformers was not entirely made in Japan. The Diaclone figures were created by Takara, however they could not get them to sell, thus Hasbro here in America took up the Diaclone figures, called them Transformers and made a cartoon to sell them. Thus, Transformers is a joint creation but gained its popularity due to what Hasbro did.

Takara handles all releases of Transformers in Japan now and Hasbro deals with the Transformers in America.

1984 series was American.

Beast war(Beast Machines) was american.

Transformers up to the live action movies, was all ran by Takara, thus Anime.

and the Transformers Animated which released here recently(and didn't last long sadly) was also American.
