  • What Nikon Lens did you use? This is great footage

  • yours looks so nice compared to the other M2 footage on here. did you do something special? the mood is so good and has the film look. is it done by Color Correction?

  • what program did you use to get that text in the beggining?

  • i used after effect

  • Was this shot with a DVX100, 100A or 100B?

  • dvx100 old one i did use for this footage.

    thanks ^_^

  • red rock micro sucks! you can build one under $300 use a sony hvr v1u and you dont need asny adapter! the adaopter gives a crappy milky look and its always out of focus no matter what! see my videos

  • You are not Professional. that's why -_-

    you don't understand ture DOF.

  • if you import into a 16:9 project then it will be perfect widescreen, no black lines unless you out-put to a 4:3 tv ofcourse.

  • Yeah that was an excellent video, good job. I was just wondering...as I WAS going to get the HVX and then realised to much money what with extra editing equipment needed...so now am thinking about the DVX100...if you shoot in the 16:9 mode...does it import in to a project without or without black lines to give the effect? Basically I just wanted to know if it will be displayed in adobe premiere pro perfectly at 16:9 WITHOUT black lines helping it try to give the effect. Cheers.

  • I have a dvx100 and theres 2 widescreen modes. 1 is squeeze the other is crop(not actually called crop). the squeeze mode simply uses a wider pixel aspect ratio (1.2 vs 0.9) so when you import into Premiere into a 16x9 project, there are no black lines, just a filled 16x9 video. I find is cleaner when seen on a large HDTV monitor on the squeeze mode rather than using letterbox crop and using the zoom function on the tv to compensate. Hope this helps.

  • Hi, Yes that does help...thank you for the info. Unfortunately I wrote that about 5 months ago hehe, so went for the canon xha1 instead which does the job perfectly. Thanks again though.

  • Yea man, just realized that. lol maybe someone else will benefit one day.. in a land far far away...

  • where any of these shots lit with anything besides natural light?

  • Looks GREAT, but focus is a pain in the nads with the 35mm lens, so I hear.

  • How much was the M2 lens? And further more, did you buy the adapter as a whole or did you build it yourself?

  • WHAT A Beautyful footage...great camera

    espically for the price

thinkin of buying on on ebay!

  • Thank you for this video. I need to see as much of the DVX100 at this time. I am considering this camera as well as a 35mm Adapter. Thanks again...
