I've got to agree with you on a lot of levels. Sam is a bit aggressive in her ways , but that is just her way, so i would just take her with a pinch of salt. Its her own opinions that she is expressing nothing more or nothing less !! I think what Sam was getting at is that its ok to read from a book but its better to read teh book and just use it as a guide rather than as a "bible" sort of speak.

Thank you for sharing this vid with me! And I totally agree with you. For me, all we can do for "newbees" is show em pieces of our own path, knowing each his path is individual, highly personal and can't be organized or regulated. Being a Witch is a personal relation youve got with the Lord and Lady, the elements, etc. something we all got to develop and explore ourselfs.. Thanks again, great vid. I have to agree with what you say here. The beginners need a base, just like with any art form or craft (painting, drawing, etc.) you need to copy from others first to get a feel for how it works before you can begin to dabble with your own style. And along with that goes your mention of 'challenging.' Constructive Criticism is always good. If you're told you're good at something all your life, you will never get any better at it. :)

We all have the ability to teach and to provide knowledge and especially in old times when study was something that was given over from generation to generation we should feel privileged to be able to have knowledge at our fingertips, be it through books or thorough teachers.

Great video. It's been a while since i've had a look at this sort of thing. A lot of your views resonate with me. I can't really say that I accept the greater theatrics of Wicca and ritual (ceremonial magick). But the way you put it as the earthen/nature based type of thing makes a lot of sense. Low folk magick, as you put it sounds wonderful. That energy is easier for me (who is deeply vested in science) to understand and believe in.

I didnt see the orginal video so I had to go watch it and then watch yours again. I totally agree with you. I'm not new but for a new witch they need to be guided and they also need to learn from mistakes not told that they are doing it wrong and such.

You are just brilliant....I couldn't agree more...build the foundation blocks and let that person build the structure...and I also find it highly offensive to make fun, or dismiss another person's path, or certain things they do.....I myself am pretty laid back, my path comes from the heart, it may not be full of ponce and pomper, but for me it's perfect and I'd be rather brassed off if some holier than thou person told me I was doing it all arse about face. I REALLY need to start doing vids!
