  • lam ching ying is a legend as leslie cheung but they both died too early at a age of 40++ only. Wat a pity

  • R.I.P to a excellent actor/fighter and stuntman forever missed.

  • Rip Lam Ching Ying!!!!!

    damn i love his movies!

  • RIP. I was too young to remember him but I know I've seen him cus I used to watch vampire movies.

  • RIP... what is the name of the video's song?

  • @Tarpaun - It's the Instrumental to Beyonce's Halo :-)

  • @IDIOTdella Thank's a lot!! :)

  • RIP

He's amazing in The Prodigal Son.

  • Lam Ching-Ying is a legend.

Which movie is the first fighting clip taken from?

  • @mygrannieannie - If you mean the initial one where Lam Ching Ying is dressed in his infamous yellow Taoist Priest gear with the hopping vampire, that's "The Musical Vampire" - if you mean the proceeding clip that's "Mad, Mad, Ghost" :-)

  • with his death,Chinese ghost movies became less Chinese and essentially, the doom of Taoist movies.sad.even to this day,I refuse to believe he's gone.

  • He was the best Taoist priest in HK horror movies! Nobody can ever replace him. A real legend. May he RIP.

  • so sad...RIP lam ching ying, i love his kung-fu/ghost movies

  • Sorry, I may be missing out on something, how did he die?

  • @Beastmast3r5254 - He died of Liver Cancer at the age of 44 years. Some say it was due to excessive drinking, however, it was later discovered that his Brother had died 6 months previous to him of the same ailment - so who knows...

    :-)

  • RIP

  • COOL !!

  • @leolohoiying Thank you, leolohoiying. I'm really pleased to hear you liked it

    :-)

  • What movie was at 2:45 where he's fighting the mummies?

  • @lollollipop123 -That would be Spooky Encounters II - Or Encounters of the Spooky Kind - depending what Country you're from :D

    :-)

  • @IDIOTdella O thanx!

  • Love your video, really good.

  • @TonyOneKenobi Thanks ever so much for such a lovely comment, TonyOneKenobi. It's lovely to know that the time and effort and the ever so present grinding teeth of frustration (chuckle) was wholly worth it :-)

    Many thanks again

    :-)

  • @IDIOTdella You are more then welcome, I loved your choice of music and thought you timed your cuts really well. I was previously un-aware of Lam Ching Ying but am amazed he is incredible, fast, powerful yet graceful and precise. Great job!

  • @TonyOneKenobi You're making me blush with enormous pride, (chuckle), but what is also lovely to hear is that you were previously unaware of Lam Ching Ying and now you know of him. That's wonderful :-)

    :-)

  • i wish he was still here to make vampire movies he was the best acting as a taoist priest i miss him. rip sifu lam ching ying

  • @123liondancer ...Indeed. I mean, I do enjoy his Vampire Movies, but thena gain, I think it wa s areal shame he was so typecasted in that role because there was so much more to his acting, comedic and Martial Arts abilities.

I have to admit that I do occasionally get a bit teary eyed when watching him, because he *was* so graceful, so virile and so alive I guess...

    :-)
