you can "almost" do this with a Oneil Helmet with BlueTooth connected to your Android 2.3+ or Iphone 4s... smart phone should have GPS and be voice enabled... simply hold down on button to get voice control... speak command (especially with Android's Google maps ties ins... In Google Nav mode... give very good audibles for turning, distance etc... sorry... no HUD in that pic.. but at least closer :)
I like the concept as well. It's almost one of those "middle of the night" ideas. I'd be interested in making one but alas, I am just a college student. Perhaps if someone out there can integrate it with all the new smart phones as opposed to just making it a headset/ minimal HUD, this idea could really take off.
