  • his parents really named him red butler?? i love that <3

  • norman looks NOTHING like i expected

  • AS ALWAYS ,Lon MacEachern and Chad Norman are superb , in bringing the real humanistic feel and struggle of every day at the 2006 WSOP...Their verbal jousting and analysis ,to me ,..is THE essential part of every year's tournament.....They "become" the sympathetic-on-camera characters of Johnny Chan,Phil Ivey , Phil Helmuth, Antonio Esfandiary, Daniel Negraneau,Allan Cuningham, Texas Dolly and "everyman and everywoman" entered for the chance of a lifetime... wondrous stuff and we THANK you..

  • loldonkaments

  • in 5:26 when jamie makes the call, he sais "im sorry", throws his cards to board and then says "i call". I think that could be judged as a fold, if we would be tight? I think Prahlad Friedman or some other sneaky player might have tried that trick. Rules are rules, its war in those tables.

  • @Jounitskeli it is always fold in live poker, u r right

  • @Jounitskeli he said sorry as he turned his cards over they are in play only when they hit the muck face down are they out

  • 0:30 lol

  • Cunningham is a fucking pussy, and pussies don't win WSOP

  • greatest intro of anything, ever

  • They all bluff a lot damn

  • I'm going to enter this tournament one day;)

  • Gold ha avuto un culo incredibile

  • all the hate on gold yet if they were in his shoes idt they would say it...he did beat the biggest field ever at the main event and caused a rule change called the jamie gold rule by poker players and ik he ran amazing but this turny is 8 days 12 hours a day he still had to earn it

  • 12 million?!! It was 9 this year..

  • I hate Jamie Gold. Alllen deserved to win this.

  • why not raise with jacks full against jamie gold ? awfull play

  • @alegsor either he wouldn't get a call or would get reraised if jamie did have the ace...

  • epic intro

  • Im soo happy pokerview accepts US players

  • Jamie Gold may be the luckiest player ever. He was suppose to share a large share of his winnings with some sponsors, but managed to get away.

  • theres no justice in poker

jamie gold winning this and allen cunningham losing it is proof of that

  • I was just playing webcam poker on pokerview and just saw Annie Duke playing sick!

  • i thought daniel negreanu made the final table

  • @bauuau18 He's never made a main event final table.

  • 9th place. 1.5m, not bad at all.

  • Running a bit low on spams don't we?

  • in 10 poker tournament champiton, i think only 1 or 2 is great player. :) so just accept it...

  • Allen Cunningham should of destroyed Jamie Gold if he got better hands and slightly less overwhelming odds.

  • jamie gold -> worst poker player like EVER...

  • @PRIVATEERSborici Fast forward one year later, Jerry Yang... enough said.

  • @tqsuited LOL So true

  • @PRIVATEERSborici

yes, but when it comes to poker, theres no skill involved, anyone who says otherwise is a fool. if poker was "skill" we'd see ALOT more "poker pro's" winning.

    i would say 80% luck and 20% skill.............if that.

  • @johnnytheprick Then you should take your money and sit down with some pros. If it is almost all luck, you should have a decent chance of winning.

  • @Robespierre7

and as history tells us, you are correct.

  • @johnnytheprick there is a lot of skill involved in poker and anyone who says otherwise is a fool. poker pros play the tournaments because of the prestige (deserved or not) of the wsop bracelets and the fact that they are likely to make money more easily as lots of bad players flock to the wsop ME. Many of them specialise in cash games where luck evens out over time and there is next to no luck involved long term. In a single tournament luck matters a lot but not over a career.

  • so many people just handed there chips to jamie gold .... he busted so many people that just simply made terrible moves and the wrong time

  • @shaggbic3651

  • сучарище

  • @jakevargas there is no penalty for talkin shit buddy

  • Jamie Gold is a class act. Yes he gets lucky, but he's very good too. He's always friendly and the poker world is lucky to have him.

  • did nassif just lose on the first hand? sure they dont show all hands, but what?

  • @theonlinegamers he lost early on but it wasn't the first hand. they cut out hours of playing to save time

  • HOW MUCH WAS JOHNNY CHAN PAID TO COACH JG

  • Lee played like a fucking pussy. Gave Gold a free card, and just a call with a fullboat. Players like him are a disgrace to poker.

  • idk why everyone hates on jamie gold. all the shit he did thats supposed to be "illegal" and he should have been penalized for. all those rules are to prevent colusion. he was just trying to mess with his opponents.

  • Best final table intro ever.

  • lol at people loling at Jamie Gold, he played great, his oponnents were all donkys (except for Allen)

  • What do you got, when the only hand you can beat is 24

  • @lekonoleken What do you have when the only hand you can beat is 23?

  • i dont play live poker but isnt there a rule against 5:28. He flips up his hand and says sorry man before he says i call - shouldnt his hand be declared dead?

  • @SurvivingTheHorizon: I think the reason it was allowed was because he did it all in one continuous motion of a call. Even though his cards were shown before he said the actual words... the sentence and body movement were continuous and not a string nor a separation between the motion and the call. Hope that helps.

  • seat open dealer xD

  • 2006 & 2007 a guy trying to be the youngest winner ever.

2008 & 2007 back to back youngest winner records haha

  • great intro!

  • moon had all their chips combined going into the final table. yet the winner got 12m and cada won like 8m? strange

  • @S3xybek the starting stacks in 09 were 30k! the chips in play do not equla the prize money!

  • @S3xybek in 06 there was nearly 9000 registered and this past year there was 6000 and something.

  • stuey!!

  • noob question here - at the end of a hand which player is required to show their hand first?

  • @happyhammer93

the guy who is out of position if it went check-check, or the guy who bet and got called.

  • the one who is first to act or had made initiave ( bet / raise)

  • person who got called

  • @happyhammer93

which ever player made the last aggressive action

  • the 2s wasnt a bad call at all his has 25million in chips and isnt gonna miss a few in trying to knock of a player

  • fuck that style

  • He called with 45off, you don't think THAT is a bad call?

  • @InfoNympho44 yeah that is to i guess

  • @jacobiversen1 ARE U CRAZY! why not! U hit a set, and u r on top! these low pocket pairs are very effective, because if the other guys have QQ KK AA, they will go all IN thinking they have a top pair.. i dunno if u play poker or not though :) might be hard for u to understand

  • @addy1231 yeah, i see what you mean. i dont think anyones right or wrong i guess i just have a different oppinion.

  • jamie gold was lucky to win wsop 2006. still can't see him as a great poker player.

  • Shouldn't Gold's hand have been folded in the first hand. He turned his cards over before saying 'call'.

  • So? You can show your hand before your decision... Many examples of it

  • Thats what I was thinking

  • stephen colbert is a cocksucker

  • what the hell was the 1st hand? dumbest shove i've ever seen.

  • One thing you can learn by this wsop. Is that sometimes a guys on a heater and he really does got it.

  • I love to watch Poker, and i'm traning by playing and watching these vids :)

  • loser

  • Cunningham should have won!!

  • @bryankho cumminghand has no heart no commitment to the game

  • @bryankho

Alan is a fuckin pussy ass bitch. FU

  • @GOLDSILVERDUDE

Lets see..Alan has millions and you likely live at home with mom and dad. Are you sure you want to insult him?

  • anyone know whats the name of the song in the beginning?

  • notice gold shows his hand before he says call, could've been ruled a dead hand, although bad sportmanship to claim that I guess.

  • it's not going to be a dead hand with WSOP rules but paul should've (and wouldve if he spoke up) had a chance to fold his hand with Jamie getting a penalty.

  • I always thought you could turn your cards over to see the reaction of the other player, then decide whether to call an all-in.

I guess the reason why that never happens is because you get the penalty??? Penalty because it's unsportsmanlike????

  • I don't think the wsop '06 will ever be beaten, in terms of entrants & prize pool.

  • it cant be....theres a cap now...

  • So thats means my previous comment is true. The wsop won't be beaten!

  • The cap is 12K this tounament (2006) only had 8,600 entrants, as of last year they had 4 "day1's" each with a 3K player cap

  • Jamie gold really inst that great of a poker player, but he gets full value on every hand he gets.

  • yea and if you won the main event you would think your the greatest to ever play the game. so STFU you fuckin faggit ass child molestor

  • Comment removed

  • look at gold s reaction when he hits a 2 on the flop...lucky 4 him his opponent wasn t looking

  • 9 TOASAND

  • gold is, at least, a pretty nice guy

  • Comment removed

  • Lol @ 9:20... Atta boy Gold.

  • allen cunnigham should have won.if he didnt wasicka should have but jamie gold had 2 many chips

  • fuck the final table, show more of Richard Lees' daughters!!!

  • would have been interesting if gold went all in on that hand with rchrd lee

  • He has won 4 times

  • not this event then

  • i like most people, but i can't stand greg raymer.

  • lol at jamie gold xD

what's the point of winning 12M if you're gonna lose it all on high stakes poker xD

  • @slipknot7maggot666 DID HE LOSE IT ALL ON THERE..

I MEAN .. WHY FIGHT THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD AT CASH GAME.. HE THINKS HES GONNA RUN LIKE THIS FOREVER!! IDIOT

  • @slipknot7maggot666 lol great comment

  • the best part of the video is richard lee's milf daughters :)

  • do you even know what milf means? you mean dilf :)

  • well, actually, Richard's one daughter has a son - so she would be by definition a MILF.

  • Look at the moment when he hits the set: the mouth's moving, that's a big tell! The guy could stop watching the flop... btw great J.Gold!!

  • Best intro to any televised championship event I've ever seen. The music, the stories, and the fact that the winner got $12M.

Plus, the most infamous ME winner ever Jamie Gold, doesn't hurt either.

  • Erik Friberg. King

  • who shoves after not hitting the flop HORRIBLE

  • where is the 2005 one :/

  • 12 million dollar, o cmon ..

  • Paul Wasicka

  • lol, my fav part at 8:30

    "and lee throws in 200,000"

    "thats a TINY bet ! "

    gotta love poker

  • i just think that you will never cash in the wsop main event, your just watching these dreaming

  • Jamie Gold hasn't done much since he won the WSOP, but give him credit. He played well that night.

  • was this showed live

  • it was streamed live on the internet like 4 months before the espn airing. i watched that nig.

  • fuck jamie gold -"give him the four"- as if he was some righteous owner of the table. fuck that guy

  • well if he was in his face shouthing he would be a arse hole but he is curtious and not a cunt

  • che sculata con quel tris gold..

  • miscount of 2 million chips??

    what the hell

  • When you're coloring up to 25, 50, and 100 thousand dollar chips... 2 million miscount can easily happen. Its the same thing as coloring up to 100 or 500 chips, you can get a miscount of a couple thousand over a group of people.

  • Poker requires stamina. You need to be in shape mentally and physically in order to succeed if this is your career choice. I dont call it a sport but try playin 80 hours in a tournament and you will than be able to see why its considered a sport.

  • Why does everyone hate this guy so much??

  • i love poker, and i know there´s a lot of skill involved, but how can a game that relies on luck be considered a sport?

  • there is more skill than luck involved. grow some brains.

  • I didnt said that there´s more skill than luck involved, and i didnt said the opposit. so.... don´t answer to questions i did not do.

I said, and quote, "there´s a lot of skill involved" and "a game that relies on luck".

daniel negreanu said that poker is not a sport. it´s a game.

now...U grow some brains and stfu!

  • every game relies on luck then... baseball, football, soccer, basketball, everything is based on luck then.

  • are u comparing poker (a game that sometimes is pure gamble) with a sport like soccer? LOL!

    i rest my case.

  • LOL. its not a pure gamble. you are a total noob at poker if you believe its pure gamble. if its pure gamble, what the heck separates these guys from normal scrubs?

  • once again, u miss read what i write. i said "sometimes it´s pure gamble". i am a beginner at poker, and play only for fun, but at least i know the difference between a card game and a sport, and i do know how to read a text. u don´t. bye bye.

  • wtf you edited...

  • omg, xD

how can i do that? xD

    priceless!

  • you can remove and re comment.
