All this time I thought Timothy Wright did this version too. i'm finding out a lot about Milton Bigham. We used to sing all the songs he wrote at our church in Saginaw, Michigan. Our pastor was good friends with Clay Evans. He sound just like him, the late Rev. Harold Gates.

I have a newer version of this song and I'm telling you I just love this song.. I sing it to my kids (who are all grown up now) and when they were teens they used to roll their eyes at me.. but they knew it was true!!!! you MUST come in at the door!!! AMEN!!!
This is and always will be my favorite chuch song i heard when i was 9 and haved love it ever since i went looking for it at 22 and paid 16.00 for the CD at Malaco it was worth every penny God bless you for posting this song an keeping it alive with the youth
Wow i really didnt know Georgia Mass Choir recorded this song ,( I didnt know this was an old song either ) before timothy wright did his version of this...I love this song our youth choir sings this song very often..like we did today (7/26/09)
You know what, I didn't like the verzion that Timothy Wright did! It seems like the choir & musicians were trying to do too much. This is just fine for me!
Bro. Timothy Wright's song was good because it gave people who love the newer sounds of gospel to listen to real church. Many newer christian don't know that this here was almost two generations from the beginning. Rev. Milton Bigham he'd this over Wrights version because Bigham never stopped singing the old time gospel.
@Bran021 I love Rev Timothy Wright's version. The singers are fervent but they should be; they're praising the Lord. On the live video - he has a few singers with him and they sound like a big choir. I appreciate this version but Rev Wright's version sounds just as old school as this one. I love how the musicians drop the bass and the high intensity of the singers on Rev Wright's version. Exactly - matter of opinion.

I've sang with Rev. Bigham and he liked pocket musicians, which is the best way to play... Sometimes musicians tend to do much on songs...

Milton bigham recorded his version first. Timothy wright remade it. This song however was around long before either of them

@d3zzy1990 Really who else sung it?

@Bran021 I agree with you. Some classics need not be remade.
