  • I've sang with Rev. Bigham and he liked pocket musicians, which is the best way to play... Sometimes musicians tend to do much on songs...

  • You know what, I didn't like the verzion that Timothy Wright did! It seems like the choir & musicians were trying to do too much. This is just fine for me!

  • That's because old school music is like no other.

  • Truly & not many ppl can build on that foundation lol.

  • Bro. Timothy Wright's song was good because it gave people who love the newer sounds of gospel to listen to real church. Many newer christian don't know that this here was almost two generations from the beginning. Rev. Milton Bigham he'd this over Wrights version because Bigham never stopped singing the old time gospel.

  • Milton bigham recorded his version first. Timothy wright remade it. This song however was around long before either of them

  • @d3zzy1990 Really who else sung it?

  • @Bran021 I agree with you. Some classics need not be remade.

  • @Bran021 I love Rev Timothy Wright's version. The singers are fervent but they should be; they're praising the Lord. On the live video - he has a few singers with him and they sound like a big choir. I appreciate this version but Rev Wright's version sounds just as old school as this one. I love how the musicians drop the bass and the high intensity of the singers on Rev Wright's version. Exactly - matter of opinion.

  • "refreshen?" praise the Lord for good music though!

  • I song on this recording in macon, georgia.

i was a member of the WSOK youth choir, directed by E. Larry McDuffie. It was an awesome experience.

  • are you from savannah? my mama is friends with e larry. used to teach at haven elem together.

  • i still play this record

  • Love this song!!

  • I used to have this song on cassette, and we marched in on this song. I love this song and Timothy Wright brought it back up to today.

  • Rev. Timothy Wright Did This Song Over And Its Hot.

  • Is "Jesus I All You Need" on this one?

  • yes it is
