  • Okay everybody. If you want the real story, a metalworker will now tell you. Bronze can only be made from copper and tin. If you add anything other than these two, as for example zinc or lead it will be categorized as brass as long as copper is the main substance.

  • @EldritchTheMoose not true. There is aluminum bronze as well as silicon, arsenic, and led bronze. It's only zinc that will produce brass

  • Bronze + zinc = White Bronze

  • @Menuki Bronze + Zinc = Brass isn't it? Or is that Copper plus zinc?

  • If you want it to be bronze it also must contain ZINC. Otherwise, it's just brass.

  • message for jason the mauler. please note:

    copper plus tin = bronze

    copper plus zinc = brass

  • @esmimo2005 this is where the chinese out tinkered us. they used all( copper, zinc, tin) that + merc. to make superior bronze. of course no man not whip driven man would even consider this, but they treat their own like daags. even blaccs didn't go there. but all that tinkering made for some exquisite weapons.

  • @jasonthemauler You don't zinc to make bronze. bronze is made with copper and tin. brass is made with copper and zinc. Now go kill yourself.

  • @TemplarX2 Well, my dad told me bronze usually contains copper, tin, and zinc. And there's no need to be such an asshole.
