At ~8 minutes Ibari says to Kohsaku "You arrived at the puberty, all right.". Is that translation correct? It sounds a bit weird. And the shield at the entrance says "Kantou Gokudou Renmei". Gokudou means "Gangster"? So "Yakuza" is okay as translation? Then at ~20:19 Kohsaku repeats Hibari's "you know". The way he says that and his/Hibaris next reaction makes me think it's some kind of "boy language", but I have absolutely no idea and I'm probably wrong.

@darealshinji Well, there's always something we translators argue about. But anyway, here's my short answer:

1) "Oh boy, you are interested in boys aren't you?" is another way of translating his words, actually.

2) Gokudou is basically a flattering way of saying yakuza.

3) You are talking about 2:41 in EP 01 3/3? Hibari's "Wayo" at the end gives a very feminine impression. So Kosaku is actually questioning his wording by saying, "Wayo???"

Stop! Niichan" was an another japanese manga by Hisashi Sekiya in 1958.

Hisasi Eguchi said it's just a quotation about only name of title from it.

So there is no story link between Hibari-kun.

Thanks to misin8888's comment, I could use the keywords, "ストップ!にいちゃん" "関谷ひさし". "Stop! Niichan" *seems* to be a sport cartoon. Amazon's site says the main character becomes a captain of different sport clubs simultaneously.

Korokun is a hardcore fan. He said he will release the vids no matter how long it takes. That's how I understand. However, I could produce the HQ in a relatively short period of time. The quality should be no less than this version: watch?v=eEkOcTLgc0U, though.

Hi, Yogiri. I think I could. I went through OtaKing77077's "Anime Fansub Documentary" and it made me think twice. I don't belong to any fansub group. It's fun to do fansub but I also don't want to ruin my favourites. I will do it anyway when I want to but at this moment, I feel I still need to be more competent.

You are welcome. The website at the link says the 35th episode was the last broadcast more than three decades ago, but I once heard that it was simply discontinued there somehow. I don't know if it's true, though.

I'm not sure if the anime was cancelled. The last episode deals with Hibari gaining psyhic powers via the White Croc curse. The manga however, didn't have a proper ending.
