Hey can you or anyone else tell me what all chords are used in this? It sounds like Bm, Em, F#m, is that right?

The bass at the beginning sounds like it does a F#, then an A, then B. If the key is Bm, then the chords on guitar would be F#m, Am, and Bm.

@Follix1 Ok... i have the same problem and my guitar teacher is helping me to improve the solos. Dude, go hear Eric Clapton or Dire Straits or any other guitarist that you know that does improv on pentatonics. Try to copy some of their stuff and learn the solos. You will see some improvement. After that, try to inovate: Get out of the pentatonic scale and use other notes that may sound awkward, use chords using the notes from the scale, use power chords, octaves, anything. It's trial and error!

I'm pretty sure there isn't a scale "E Dorian Pentatonic" seeing as how Dorian is septatonic, and Pentatonic is...well pentatonic. Also I'm not sure what you're getting at with "B Dorian with Lydian flavour"? Is that Dorian #4?

@whydoesitmatter1994 The webpage your visiting is bunk dude. Nothing about that indicates Dorian. Sure it's pentatonic, but the Dorian sound is characterised by the b3 6 and b7. A better pattern for the name "Dorian Pentatonic" (although I still say it's a stupid name) would be 1 b3 4 6 b7 at least that sounds Dorian. The scale you mentioned is just the second mode of the Pentatonic scale. That is it's accepted name. There is no need to apply Dorian to that scale it just confuses the issue.
