  • these comments prove that the belief in God is one of the strongest roots of all violence on this Earth. This God is nothing more than your weak Ego fighting for control of nothing.

  • To bad for him he must not of believed in anything except what, made him happy and what gave him piece of mind.He was wrong there yet he was famous guess that must of gave him the right in his own mind to believe or not believe what he chose to.Still sad ,the song makes no sense outside of that.Pretty narrow minded but to each his own and he must of been in his own world. He did believe in peace that was one good thing,at least he said he did.Yet in other references he acknowledges religion.

  • I Belive and love Jesus

  • What people refer to as 'God' is a oneness in us. A strength, and a healer, and a unifying force. It's hard to explain what it is, but I think we all feel it. Some like the comfort of the notion that God is a man, and that's fine too. It helps us through. I think what John is saying here is that he has accepted there is no great savior, and that the strength he needs comes from himself. It's a beautiful song, and I think he was one of the most honest people that ever lived. Peace out John

  • @BrotherCopper great view on the topic, john ended up becoming a born again christian in the early 70's but yoko drew him way from it, he was reading the bible and watching t.v shows about christianity and called the number and asked how he could save his soul, the person send him a free copy of the book, but ye tagain yoko drew him away from it saying it is not the way, he also said whatever brings you closer to Jesus to do it, if the beatles bring you closer then that what their there for.

  • @nightcrawler511 And this is based upon what fantasy you had?

  • @petphotog actaully theres an interview of john talking about his beliefs on christianity here on youtube, thankyou

  • @BrotherCopper Here is a deal. When you can define it then come explain it. Because you can define "god" to be anything. There has been thousands of different meanings of God now. Now until and unless you can actual define what God is, then you have NOTHING to defend and your ideas are meaningless as to reality.

  • @petphotog idiot the song is up to interpetation he was a genuis no matter what he believed .you stupid fuck

  • @jcraigb You don't know me. You have no reason to say anything like that. Do you think just because you hide behind a keyboard your point of view is somehow more important than mine?

You are a rude piece of shit! Go fuck yourself!

  • @petphotog wow lots of peace there in your statement! LOL

  • @jcraigb If you are replying to the above comment, I am not even talking about the song you stupid ass!

  • JOHN and YOKO...YOKO and JOHN I wish I had known them personally. Very interesting people.

  • @funfunfuntheautobahn No, where do you get ur info. Especially Kings, he wasn't found of the idea of people being born into royalty.

  • @DavidCastoe No one on the planet idolized Dylan like Lennon did and Dylan wasn't born in no royalty that I know of...

  • Dnload the audio from this clip at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. PSALM 14

  • @jsong1974 Since when did John commit any abominable works? What about 9/11 attacks? Those would not have happened if "God" was not behind it. Plus, you have the: Crusades, Inquisition, the Holocaust, the Fall of Rome, the Dark Ages.

  • @jsong1974 Type "Base Assertion Fallacy" into wikipedia or google.

  • @Gluck987 *Bare Assertion Fallacy. Typo.

  • @Gluck987 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 2

  • @jsong1974 What facts is this trivial thing based upon?

  • It's certainly an interesting idea--John said many things whenever he was feeling emotion. John was feeling pain and sadness and anger at the world so he wrote- John may not have always been right- but he was honest and even brutal in how he spoke his mine.the most schocking thing was "I don't beleive in Beatles"--after all those years of joy . John was in denial of everything.-itsan amazing song- sad but amzaing how down to earth he was. RIP JOHN- I hope you felt peace eventually

  • The Thuth is in us!

  • @PBCFilmes John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Jesus Christ is truth.
