Question: will a standard 1/4" splitter work? I already have cables and a second pedal.

@Ac3x0fxSpades nope. If you just use a 1/4" splitter, then it limits you to only be able to push one pedal down at a time. You literally have to have one pedal all the way up before pushing the other pedal down. This doesnt allow you to do any fast beats at all.

Ok guys, so I have the Roadie U pedal, and luckily, it works good with my RB2 stock drums, so is the pedal that comes with the module also a Roadie U? if not, i dont think it would work with my drums. Or should i just buy an omega, and use splitters with my Roadie pedal ( i keep my feet up when im drumming, so pushed down is not a problem)

@iirobbieiiv2 Actually, that is not correct. Headphone splitters do not work because the RB pedals are magnetic. You cannot register one pedal if another is already pushed down. This has been discussed thousands of times. Check google :)

@iamchucky4life You can use a headphone splitter for RB, but the problem is that you cant hold down one pedal and hit the other one, because you wont get a response if your already holding one down. This double bass module changes that and can send both signals if one is already held down.

It doesn't matter the kit, it matters the pedal. Even though the module says "Ion" it does not limit it to the Ion kit, it just means that Ion made it (like the Ion capture card.)

Answer: If yes, this work. This kills the signal as soon as it receives it in order to get the second signal from a second pedal. It does not matter the KIT as much as the PEDAL.

In my opinion, the Roadie/Ion pedal is way too stocky and doesn't offer much rebound when playing (I can play stuff like Dimmu Borgir on real drums but I have trouble playing Sulfur on Rock Band lol)
