Mack, like many SG tenors has a flair for making things sound high when they're really not. That wasn't that high, however I believe the reason he can sing like that at his age is because he doesn't do it with bad technique like many young tenors who wear out after a few years.
This is really just fantastic. What a great tenor voice for Mack Taunon. At his age that was really good. I would really like to see more of him and his singing. What is he doing these days??? Does anyone know???????
Mack Tauton is amazing. The Cathedrals have had some great tenors like Bobby Clark, Danny Funderburk, Kirk Talley, Ernie Haase but none with more charm and grace than Mack. We love you Mack.
not many tenors his age can still sing like that. even danny and ernie have lost alot and they were much younger than mack was then. this was the group when i fell in love with the cathedrals and to think they all could still sound this good some 25 yrs later.
Yes, but think, Danny sung for 15-20 years doing 250 dates a year. Nobody can keep the same voice after singing that much and singing that high with that much power.
@cocacolacowgirl I'm with you on that opinion...and Roy has a range that won't quit. I've heard Roy warm-up before concerts doing Handel arias, it was incredible.
