This Xbox probably never red ringed if its still being used as the same thing today. Since its only using the CPU and none of the GPU which the GPU is the chip of most common failure on the Xbox. I wish I had a Xbox of that kernal :( Hopefully when all of the e-fuses are blown someone can create a custom firmware or something to I can run homebrew on my retail.

It comes with its own utility stuff, which is slightly different, can't use normal free60 stuff. Also no need for soldering resistors with it, if you're fine doing that don't get it. I am going to be modding a few 360s, want to try it the easier way first.

Actually 360 runs 10 degrees cooler than the ps3 just the way the heatsink is mounted causes the gpu become unsoldered. Plus that was so 3 years ago.

well with a fully stock non modified 360 you can use XCM sniper or w.e and play games with a keyboard and mouse. Also with a usb keyboard just plugged in (no XCM sniper needed) you can type messages and navigate to an extent.

u know, i had a modeded xbox1 and used it for media center, but it couldnt run HD without lagging so i bought the 360 and tried almost everything but ended up using endless hours reencoding shit i would see, but just useless..

so i scrapped my nigger360 and bought myself a EGREAT m34a instead..

no native 3d in the xenos framebuffer but is still possible xbmc can directly communicate with the gpu with tmb's experimental gpu library

The red lights are only because Linux is set up that way. The red, while in Linux, doesn't mean the same as it would with the original dashboard.

hello, it works with 4532 kernel, that is correct.

it also works if you had updated your Xboc360 to NXE. You only need a Cygnos360 V2.0 and an Xbox360 console without HDMI and with a production date before August 2007.

The dashboard version doesnt matter at all. The pre-August 2007 non-HDMI consoles can be downgraded. Infact, this test console has the "NXE" Kernel on the onboard NAND, and the 4532 Kernel on the Cygnos 360 V2.0 NAND.

this is absolutely correct. you can also downgrade "NXE" dashboards. it only matters if you have a xenon mainboard. these are on the xboxes produced until August 2007 and WITHOUT HDMI. the dash board version does NOT matter
