I agree about the Horowitz comment from katkula. Horowitz is, I guess, a genius, but his playing always seems sloppy to me. Some comments about him, or defending him, remind me of the fans of Maria Callas, who will brook no criticism of their deity.

Callas and Horowitz aren't deities - they WERE consummate artists. But I guess the hoi polloi, of which your ilk form the largest part, must be heard, for what your two cents are worth...
Someone mentioned that he is on the same level as Horowitz. I would say that purely technically this guy is better. But there is also great sensitivity required to play this piece excellent...
