@voicesinurhead He's probably just slipping the clutch a bit. Every manual car I've ever driven has a point in first gear or reverse where you can let the clutch out halfway or so and with move the car without pressing the accelerator. Not the best for the clutch, but useful when starting on a hill, for example.
@DaMastaOfRoad Rule of thumb, dont ever ride a car clutch. Most motorcycle clutches are referred to as wet clutches and can be ridden all day long while partially engaged.
@DaMastaOfRoad Im sorry but being European has nothing to do with it. I taught motorcycle safety classes for Texas for a number of years and taught my students about riding motorcycle clutches. On top of that I have been turning wrenches for now on about 25 years. I speak from experience.
richard can't do that

That´s a REAL supercar: totally unpractical, italian, strange-looking (gorgeous too ?). But listen at 0:03: It´s a great car !

voicesinurhead 1 year ago
@voicesinurhead I mean, he's still using his two feet. No difference.

@CptKookie actually it's good for the clutch, if you had to press the accelerator there would be more friction on the clutch
DaMastaOfRoad 5 months ago
@DaMastaOfRoad It trashes your clutch faster when you partially engage it and leave it there.
Doomsday971 4 months ago
@Doomsday971 sure, don't leave it there! but be easy on the gas pedal as well

@Doomsday971 right. But even with a motorcycle clutch it's better not to do this. Believe me, I'm european and I know this stuff

@Doomsday971 allright, well i was just guessing.... 95% of the cars in america are automatic, in europe it's way less than 50%...
