  • @eyesac99: ford does not own cummins. Cummins owns Cummins.

  • What year is that Dodge

  • @14omega28ok perfectly said. It is a blatant disrespect of each trucks design and purpose

  • Comment removed

  • CUMMINS POWER..... IDE RATHER BE CUMMIN' THAN STROKEN'

  • oh well ford own's cummins anyways

  • id rather be cummin then stroken!!!!

  • Id rather RAM it than stroke it

  • I love first gen cummins but after that fuck dodge they got shitty after 1998 screw the 24v cummins and the new cummins!! I also love the 7.3idi and the ford 7.3 powerstroke and the 6.4 powerstroke and the new powerstroke and yes cummins is amazing but dodge is not that good of truck

  • THANK GOD FOR REDNECKS!!!

  • This battle is Pathetic. I was RAISED in a fucking Dodge One ton and Ford One ton. Both are good durable Trucks, Both can haul a hell of a load. and Both are Very fucking reliable. We drove the Dodge all across the Western US with a 30,000 pound load and Drove the Ford all the Eastern US with a 25,000 pound load. Both Handled it fine. Trucks are MADE TO PULL you fucking morons! Not to be used for Tug o war

  • i dont know if this is true but i HEARD that dodge is making a v8 diesel because the 6 cylinder has had its time... but im not sure so no flippin shit.

  • i like the older cummins trucks :D

  • let me get a hellyeah if u knew who the winner was gona be

  • hell yeah id rather be cummin than strokin!

  • HAHAHA EAT SHIT POWDER SMOKE!!!!!!

  • thats awsome lmfao

  • cummins been kicking powerstrokes ass since day one somethings never change

  • haha. fords suck the big one.

  • Hes fucking pissed LMFAO. Poor lil guy. To bad the dodge has drunk dents all over. I take it has shes been on her side :(.

  • I like Ford the 7.3 Powerstroke are good but u cant beat a 12 valve CUMMINS !

  • dodge didn't make many bad trucks and ford didn't either..until about 1992 or so. after that ford trucks went to shit. atleast this is one of the good ones havin some fun

  • @immadodgeguy what the fuck you talking about 91 thru like 95s were some of the best trucks ford made.

  • what did you build on your bumper there for those lights? would love to do that to my first gen

  • strokin lasts longer

  • @fordboy210 if ford lasted longer then the powerstroke would be known as the "million mile engine"....but none the less that title goes to the original VE pump 12 valve cummins.

  • @gutter52 P7100 pump good sir the VE pump is in the 24 valve

  • @AxeofDeath666 err, nope you are mistaken look it up.

  • @gutter52 Oh sorry I was talking about the second gen cummins 12 valve dont know much about first gen. you learn something new everyday. Thank you for helping me through my ignorance good sir.

  • @gutter52

YUP, that's the 12V Cummins ungodly reliability,

  • Rather be cummin than strokin

  • Why do stupid videos like this even exist? Obviously the winner is gonna be whoever gets the best traction, not the most torque. Completely ueless video.

  • dodge sucks the only thing good about it cummings in it

  • @johncap75 its cummins, and dodge is better.

  • in every ford vs dodge tug o war contest dodge wins... i think its time to say that dodge is the better truck

  • @MrVishnille dude i agree with you that dodge is stronger even tho i love fords and im driving a dodge right noww..

  • @erics400 two words, dodge cummins. Thats how. Imagine how much the diesel world would change if dodge would put a v8 cummins in a dodge.

  • Sorry if this is a dumb question, but if the ford has a 7.3l v8 and the dodge has a 5.9l I6, how does the dodge have so much more power?

  • @erics400 its is because the cylinders are in a straight line which if you look at semi trucks most of them are straight six's, so its more torque and lasts longer

  • i wish i could find a club cab diesel dodge this year they are soooo rare the only ones you do find are rust buckets or 2wd

  • When it comes to this,

    ALL American made's are good

Powerstroke, Cummins, Duramax, W/e It's the IMPORT that make's us look like shit.

This is just like a truck's version of Arm Wrestling. Lol

Just for fun, Not for competition. :P

  • cant beat a dodge:)

  • haha the dirtymax won!!

  • wonder why the pasenger door does not match the rest of the truck

  • thumbs up if you clicked because you saw the sweet looking dodge

  • @johntrebec yes sir, i love the 1st gens.

  • Application (gears / weight / tires / driver experience) all play a part. The 7.3 was legendary and the cummins is hands down an awesome motor. I'm a Ford guy, but when Ford made the 6.3 and the 6.0 it was all down here from there (junk). If I were buying new it would be a Dodge now.

  • That's a good lookin' old first gen!

  • @johncrf150 that's a 12 valve all you gotta do to make them blow smoke is turn up the pump cause there ain't no electric shit on them

  • PowerJoke... well maybe not THAT year, but now they are, bottom line, the Cummins are way better...

  • when you see that smoke that tells you its far from stock

  • its all about traction

  • man i would pay 10 000 for that ram

  • @wolfboy716avenger and i would call you dumb your dealing with 2 completely different times older truck = less plastic more weight newer truck = more plastic less weight

weight moves weight you can put a top fueled dragster motor on a go cart frame with go cart tires and it probley wont pull a lawn mower

  • that dodge is nasty!

  • ford owns 50% of cummins

  • @fordpowerstroke100

Really? People still think this garbage?

  • @fordpowerstroke100 your a fucking idiot

  • I am an all out Cummins fan, but... if you are going to do comparisons like this, makesure both have the same tires, wheel size (maybe) and road traction. THEN you can judge upon which is the better truck. In this case, both are awesome :P

  • i'd drive either one of those trucks

  • that dodge is a real truck ford can suck its hang down

  • @ricerssuck33

yeah thats why dodge has out sold ford and chevy for the past 30+ years! Haha NOT!

  • @ricerssuck33

they fall apart their cheaper than chevy and ford for a reason the Cummings last the dodge dosent

  • i do believe the cummins had the major advantage due to the setup, like most likely more weight, better suspension setup, better tires, but really in the end, it all comes out to the driver, a piece of shit can most the time win over a much better car if the driver knows what he is doing, am i right?

  • I live on long island where there is a Cummins plant, engines are put o good use here. Most public buildings on LI, even all hospitals have Cummins generators and even the ferries that carry cars and families all day long from 7:00-10:00 use cummins the size of that Dodge Ram. One January on a below freezing day I was riding one of the first trips of the day on the ferry and I got to hear them start the engines, that was fucking ausome. Cummins has never disappointed me nor will my next truck.

  • This is the baddest nastiest Cummins ever. its so ragedy lookin and thats wat s the shit about it.

  • Spikeyj37... Even if the engines are built from the floor up, or completly stock it means nothing. Tugs are all about weight and traction, whoever gets a better bite will pull the other and most of the time weight and/or tire quality decides who gets more bite on the ground.

  • So I dunno about this but I would guess the powerstroke is stock based on the fact of no smoke. So how is this a fair fight?

  • @Spikeyj37

Not to mention its easy to tell the cummins isn't stock....

  • Further more, Cummins engines are top of the line but neither GM or FORD needs them. Dmaxes are awesome and Ford now has a 6.7 that is powerful and reliable. I personally think Ford shoulda reengineered their 6.6L I6 to put in their light duty trucks, its about the same size as a 6.7 Cummins and capable of makinf good power, just needs a little refinement.

  • @DrMcelroy 7.3 enough said

  • rd319467... Ok, IM PRETTY SURE i was commenting on what he said, not what he was talking about, he was wrong and he was corrected, now its your turn to get corrected. I dont talk shit, i type facts. Did you even read my post? Ford uses Cummins diesels in their light duty trucks ( 250, 350 ) every day... They are mass produced, that is a fact, something that cannot be disputed. If you have no clue, butt out.

  • the ford was hitting the brakes. wtf?

  • @bluejay148... Its true that they used to but now Ford builds its own diesel. F 650 and 750's come with a 6.7L Cummins. In South America You can get F250 and 350's from the factory with a 4bt ISB Cummins. Like i said, Ford uses Cummins diesels as do alot of other companies so his comment truely was pointless. You understand now my man?

  • @420assassinator... Ford uses Cummins engines in their trucks too, as well as Gm, Freightliner, Volvo, Peterbuilt and International... So whats your point? " id rather be commin than strokin, dodge all the way" fuckin dumbass, you aint got a clue do ya? How old are you, eleven, twelve and a half??

  • @DrMcelroy no ford has navistar international power stroke v8

  • @DrMcelroy im pretty sure he's talking about the mass produced lighty duty diesels, this is typical of most people, dodge is the only one doing this so get over it. when ford and gm start running cummins engines in their light duty diesels, then you can tslk crap

  • I would Rather be cummin then strokin. Dodge All the way

  • @geezwaitup your own FAIL. its all good man relax

  • @geezwaitup ya almost as funny as the 1 you couldnt make

  • @geezwaitup almost Ford

    Owners

    Recommend

    Dodge!!!

  • both sick trucks i cant get enough of the old cummins and the old powerstroke wish they still made em like this.

  • @randytune88 research the 2011 redesigned Cummins engine. thats a modern engine thats actually coming close to the first gen.

  • @possiblefurry yeah it sucks tho because they make em all quiet and put all that emissions crap on em

  • haha look a that old 12 valve go gotta be a cummins

  • mopar and cummins forever

  • @DISS42JR Mopar or No car!

  • @DISS42JR cummins is ford

  • @MrAceofspades21 no its not

  • @DISS42JR cummins is ford look it up so ford all the way my friend owns a 2007 f450 that idles at 950ftlbs or torque and has pulled 2 dodge 3500 in a tug of war

  • @MrAceofspades21 yeah 2 but dodge has pulled 2000 fords...

  • @MrAceofspades21 actually cummins is dodge they have been using since like 1989 and ford uses powerstroke but now they have a new engine they built themselves. and i bet the f-450 doesnt idle at 950 ftlbs

  • @MrAceofspades21 you sir are a fucking retard. Cummins isn't owned by Dodge or Ford. Dodge puts Cummins engines in their trucks but they sure as hell don't own them. And Ford uses Powerstrokes, Which blow cock. Get your shit straight before you lie out of your ass dumbass

  • @MrAceofspades21 i personally would rather be cummin than stroken

  • @DISS42JR ford owns cummins do your research

  • @johncrf150 ford owned 15% of cummins stock back in the 90's and cummins repurchased that stock in 1998...you can find this info on cummins web site and at dodge ram dot o r g

  • @johncrf150 show me the link

  • @DISS42JR mopar dont go far

  • @geezwaitup o well youll think of somthin

  • @geezwaitup was good but ebay? idk but i dont go there for parts if i ever need them

  • ol grandpa won

  • Say what you want about the Dodge transmissions.....my truck's transmission just got rebuilt at 203k miles. It's holding up damned good for an 18 year old truck.

  • @spartus09 mines only a 2000 with 218k miles on my dodge and runs just fine i do notice tho when im in third on the freeway i tend to smoke out those lil hondas but idk if thats a problem for me

  • @spartus09 my rangers got 258,000 and has never been touched other than fluid changes

  • those 12 valves cummins can almost do anything.

  • i'd rather be cummin then stroken

  • 1st gen FTW!!

  • born with a ford, die with a ford. any dodge owners can park their trucks on my yard aslongs yall rednecks dont trash talk my trucks and its over. what happens on my yard, stays on my yard, j/k but i like all trucks, just wont even drive a dodge again. i drive ford, chevy, take a nissan or toyota over a dodge

  • F-ord

    O-wners

    R-ecommend

    D-odge

  • who bothers strokin'? he's just cummins.

  • Hahaha that Dodge diesel is amazing

  • that 7.3 was an international diesel

  • gotta love the love of all these comment's. the funny thing is i bet alot of you dont know anthing about dodge ford or GMC... keep on given her!

  • all i have to say is neons catch on fire and all dodge diesels love the taste of transmission in the morning

  • look at the mods on the dodge

  • all of you need to change your tampons

  • @landon460 i agree with u on how 460's are pretty much indestructible motors bc we have an '83 and we had to replace the factory solinoid and alternator only a few weeks ago so u figure 83-2010 thats 27years with out any problems so i agree 460's are bad ass enigines and i kno wut u mean by8mpg my wallet feels the same way

  • The fact of the matter is that I am talking about weight and traction. Thats what a tug o war proves. The truck with better traction and more weight wins. Forget what engine is in both the trucks that doesn't matter. It's not an issue of the longevity of the engines, all this type of stunt proves is that one truck is heavier and is gripping the road better. End of story you morons.

  • powerchokes suck

  • fords are still stroken while dodges are already cummin

hahah omg thats so dirty .but for real dogdes are boss

  • Modified extended cab cummins dodge against a stock regular cab powerstroke. No shit the dodge will win. Now put some weight in the bed of the Ford to equal the weight and make sure both trucks are running the same tires and the Ford will win. First gen Powerstrokes had more HP and TQ than first gen cummins. Look it up. They last longer in my experiences too. The rest of the dodge will fall apart around the engine.

  • @landon460 take your pile of shit with open differentials and v8 gas based pile of shit and shove it.

  • @jjjhedder Kill yourself and do us all a favor. A comment like that, which makes no sense because you don't know what I drive, proves your a moron. Your retarded on so many levels.

  • @landon460 the ford lost,get over it.

  • @jjjhedder Nothing to get over it's a simple matter of physics. Just want all you knuckleheads to realize that when a truck loses a pointless task such as a tug-o-war it doesn't make the losing truck a bad truck. It just means certain variables were against it. The engine not being one of those variables.

  • @landon460 U don't know much then if you think a Powerstroke will out last a Cummins. I have seen Cummins motors with over 250,000 miles on them with honing cross patterns still on the cylinder walls, They aren't even broke in. A Powerstroke at that stage in its life has already seen its better days. First gen Dodge Cummins are considered one of the most reliable trucks. My 89 W350 with 318,000 miles is more solid then Fords its era and will outlast any V8 diesel, its the laws of physics.

  • @sspat1976 I do know much. 35 years of being a mechanic much. When did I say say anything about first gen. Cummins not lasting you moron? I didn't. I said the first gen. Powerstrokes had more power and TQ then first gen. cummins. I have had to work on plenty of cummins engines and their not worth blowing your load over. I've put more miles on the two first gen. strokes I own with no problems then my 91 cummins dodge. The dodge is falling apart around the motor.

  • @landon460 OH you didn't, what a fool u are u put it in writing! Quote- "They last longer in my experiences too" refering to first gen powerjokes vs first gen cummins Oh now u remember. Listen being a mechanic means nothing, your just a ford loyalist a person that puts up with sub-standard shit thinkin its the best and most of u are a bunch of tools urself so it makes it extra nice to shut you guys down on the track and the street leaving you guys studdering and making up excuses.

  • @sspat1976 You are the fool because I said it was from my experiences. I didn't say the motors are not good and don't last for others but the ones that I have owned have been outshined by the 7.3.

  • @landon460 Whatever you sure did say that and another dumb thing u said is how it was unfair that the dodge was a Club Cab cuz of weight. I bet u if u cut out that extra section of the Cab and wieghed it with the jump seats it be not even 200 lbs there is nothing to it. That is a stupid argument, most ford guys talk out of their ass or kids which is it?

  • @sspat1976 If you knew anything about trucks and didn't talk out your ass you would know that it's not just about the extra weight of it being a club cab but it has to do with weight transfer. A longer wheelbase means their is more pressure and weight being put on the front end where all the weight is you asshole. I doubt you've ever pulled in competition by your ignorance. Also, club cab means more frame and longer driveshafts as well.

  • @landon460 Mr. Ignorant u really show off how intelligent u are with all the language and nothing to stand on. I do tractor pulls with my Moline, 2ft longer isn't going to make any bit of difference with distribution to small to notice a damn thing especially on the street. A truck with a rake to it taller springs in the back would make a difference in a pull. As you load it down the truck would level out and it would resist pulling weight off the front end.

  • @sspat1976 Pure bullshit. If you pulled you would know that length and weight matter. Have you ever heard of leverage?...It's called leverage and it makes a huge difference. Besides all your stupidity, the point is the dodge is longer and heavier so it's going to win.

  • @landon460 Leverage is exactly what i refered to when i was talking about a truck with a rake, Taller and stiffer springs in the back resists the truck from becoming a lever dumb ass. Non the less its all pointless on the street, proof of that is in a bunch of other videos were single rear wheel trucks beat duallies, reg. cabs beat crews, 2wd beat 4wd, 1/2s beat 1 tons and all vice-versa its not so clear cut as it seems. So quit making excuses the truck won fair and square.

  • @sspat1976 You are truely the dumbass and master of contradicting yourself. Every time I say a point you say the same thing back to me like I didn't know and call me a dumbass. I'm not making excuses for either truck, this is beyond that. I am just calling you an idiot. There are many variables to cause one particular truck to win/lose a tug and that is what I am saying. Half these guys who comment don't know their asses from a hole in the ground.

  • @landon460 U are such an idiot, If u WOULD HAVE READ my comment and understood it in the first place. Its clear that you would know I quote "heard of leverage" and not wrote that dumb comment to being with (which is contradictory to you knowing what I said) don't u agree???. Callin u a dumbass well that is another contradicting argument, u started it and ur worse then me. So stop acting like ur shit don't stink.

  • @sspat1976 It's like talking to an eight year old.

  • @sspat1976 Long-winded whole lot of nothing don't you think? Rear tires become the fulcrum and the longer the wheelbase the more pressure is put on the fulcrum. Go fuck yourself kid.

  • @landon460 WTF? U still trying to argue this shit a weeks later! What have u been studying and doing research this whole time on a come back answer hahaha. Still u don't know shit, If longer wheelbase was all that was able to win truck pulls there would be no standard cabs but there is cuz its not that big a factor. All a puller needs is tall stiff rear springs and some weights on the front, to stop the truck from becoming a lever under extreme load. U aren't worth arguing with u ignorant moron

  • @sspat1976 No douche, unlike you I don't live online and I don't check unimportant shit like this daily. Your still wrong. If I was wrong then your comment about placing weight on the front would not be relevent. Length is not the only factor and I never, ever said it was but your dumb so you can't tell the difference. I did say it was just one of the factors along with the dodge being heavier and having a better contact patch. What a tard you must be.

  • @sspat1976 your agument is completely based on a guess. I havnt owned a Dodge, if driven them for work. Iv had a first gen powerstroke and i primarily drive a chevy at work thier all nice vechicals but its all a matter of opion not fact. i prefer the powerstrokes. The cummins is an nice engine but the Transmission is terrible to say the least. If you want proof of how your agument is completly bullshit google Spot the Shop Truck and its right at the top

  • @RipperWest what are you refering to with the video exactly longevity or performance? Dodge trans. aren't terrible. I have an 89 Cummins the first year. It has a 3 speed 727 TorqueFlite (One of the best trans.) shifts nice and firm truck has 318,000 miles on it. Trans. issues came about in the 90's when they went with lock up torque converter and overdrive, the overdrive unit clutches burned up from lack of lubrication and lock up converter failed do to engines low end TQ. The 48re fixed that.

  • @landon460 The difference in peak numbers isn't enough to make a difference, Its all about your power curve how fat and useful it can be A 7.3 210 hp @3,000 and 425 TQ @ 2,000 too high of rpm, V8 diesels power range is higher up and when you put them under load, you dog them down and pull them out of their power band not good for towing. The 5.9 160 hp @ 2,500 and 400 TQ @ 1,600 nice and low. Cummins love to be loaded puts them into their power band which is nice and big too. look at a graph.

  • @sspat1976 I don't need to look at a graph to know that 2000rpm is not too high of rpm. The cummins makes less power at only 400rpm's less. Were not talking about one diesel making it's power at 4000rpm and the other at 2000, we are talking about 400rpm difference. I've never had trouble getting a load moving quickly with a first gen. stroke but my 91 dodge was a turd pulling the same trailer.

  • @landon460 when the motor only revs to 2800 rpm, 400 is quite a bit. This isn't gas motors Mr. 460. If ur 91 wasn't preforming well u should known that there is a lot you can do to those motors just by screw driver tuning, advancing timing, and turning the pin like 50 hp more For Free! But u are only a backyard mech. Them motors were turned down cuz mopar didn't have the money at the time for upgrading drivelines but 7.3 no potental for power upgrading without u going bankrupt.

  • I know there is tuning you can do to help anything perform. You can add a turbo to a lawnmower and make it badass but my point is that from the factory the first gen 7.3 had more ass.

  • @landon460 If u have the money ya u can make anything perform that doesn't mean you would, There are alot of things out there that aren't seen as a very good investments for dumping money into because of a poor or mediocre out come. The 7.3 in diesel performance is one of them it doesn't take well to adaptions, blow all ur money ya but then u need to strenghten its bottom end con. rods, girdle, and fill the block. Cummins great with adps. stock bottom end good for 1800hp 2000 ft tq +

  • @sspat1976 No shit. Way to build off of my comments.

  • @landon460 Build off your comment nope, think of it as me attacking ur flawed premise with rational sense. The whole "You can build anything" argument is bullshit and random.

  • i'd rather be cummin than strokin!

  • dodge was chiped.

  • @FordmanHaulit3002010 Your soooo fucking stupid, how are you going to put a chip on a fuckin first gen cummins? They were all mechanical till 98.5 dumbass

  • @kawirider206 you can do anything.

  • @FordmanHaulit3002010 must mean it has a fuel plate huh? lets learn some shit befor we talk

  • i have a dodge of that age best truck ever built

  • ooo what a surprize cummins wins

  • It was smoking cuz it's a diesal u fucking moron

  • dude he has some shit under the hood it was smoking like crazy like the stacks

  • I have a 1978 ford f-150 4x4 and i am sure a cummins will rape it if sees fit. on the gas mileage and the power but at least my c-6 wont puke and my truck wont burst into flames argue that beotches

  • @bobrossftw what the hell do you mean puke or burst into flames? My cummins has never done either...

  • ford sucks

  • MY father's 2006 Dodge with the Cummins out ran a Ford with a powerstroke.I know a Jasper rep that calls a Ford Powerstroke a Ford Powerpuke. There is a shop in Montana that does powerstroke to Cummins conversions,Destroke and makes money doing it

  • dodge wishes

  • i hate old dodge trucks, they couldnt come up with their own idea so they just mix ford and chevy looks. ford body style with chevy accessories...next time you see an old dodge look at it and you will see what i mean

  • How much bro, and where ya located???

  • @Ramdi3sel,

fords not dumping them you dumb fucking retard, and you get any dodge gas jobby to pull up against me, i'd drag it down the road in my 93 ford escort

  • i've owned all 3 and Nissan Is the Best!!! haha so just f*cking kiddin. DODGE all the way my friends. I've got a gasser with 362k and a 01 diesel with 542 and only put a lift pump and set of ball joints in it, and it'll still pull ANYTHING. wish i could get my hand on one of them old 93 or older beautys! great vid!

  • I got a 92 for sale lol

  • @icummins03, thank you. i always was and always will be a cummins man.

  • Yeah you low self steem bitch, the reason why you talk about Chevy when you like Ford tells every body here is nothing good you can say about Ford.... That is why you have to bring Chevy into the mix...To be honest with you I am glad that all the bitches like you like Ford instead of Dodge, because just reading the shit you faggot Ford fans say, proves what I have said all along, FORD IS FOR FAGGOTS !!!!
