  • MUSICA MARAVILLOSA,EXELENTE OBRA,GRAN COMPOSITOR HRMOSA ORQUESTA,FELICITACIONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 08 joulukuu 1865 Tämä päivä jolloin hän syntyi Jean Sibelius, joka oli päivämäärä ja kellonaika Jumala valmistunut maailman kauneus.

08 December 1865 This day when he was born Jean Sibelius, that was the date and time God completed the beauty of the world.

  • Great song Great performance!!!

  • they're doing a good job, cuz this is a hard piece :)

  • Dear Estonians !

    Maamme on yhteinen.

  • nice job!

  • Crying baby in backround

  • Give them a break. This is a youth orchestra, crowded into a tight space, with miserable acoustic conditions and less than professional recording techniques. They're playing a devilishly difficult work.. It's unrealistic to expect a performance to rival Sakari Oramo and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra.

  • It is very sad when violence comes to picture. There were times not so long ago, when swedish speakers gangs took to streets of Helsinki to beat finnish speaking "lower race". Finns still remember that and how they were treated over the centuries. It still feels that swedishness is considered better than finnishness and the swedish language is still being forced upon the majority.

  • tää on suomalainain säveltäjä

    (This is a FINNISH composer)

  • "no shit"

  • It's what orchestras playing this commonly do, they play this in too much of a hurry, missing the whole point of it.. I have one version of this, I have no idea who was responsible for it, but it makes me cry every time I hear it, i have to turn it off if I'm in public.. This song should be taken very slowly and easily, that's what makes it awesome..

  • Im a finn =) AND PROUD OF IT

  • And so you should be,.

  • Yeah me too! Sibelius rocks.. :D

  • im half Finnish half Polish :O northern blood, jahaa :O

  • I am related to jean sibelius he is my great great great uncle my grandfather told me about him so i decided to look into it and I thought it was interesting.

  • OMG. We played this in high school. One of my favorite music pieces to play.

  • makes me proud to be a finn!!!!!!!!1

  • goed gespeeld, maar k mis een beetje de trombones aan het begin en tussendoor soms ook... Maar wel goed, voor de rest.

  • we're playing this in orchestra :)

  • we played it last year... amazing right?

  • Something is missing, but I don't know what.

  • beautiful but i heard different versionn of same song at school

  • almost but not compleatly enough....

    Good vid=)

  • ages 6-21????????

    wow......

  • Sweet to see this played by non-finnish orchestra. It was too fast though =).

  • Whoa... Percussion abit too loud!

    Especially cymbal and timpani...

Timpani should have more dynamic variations...

Trumpets could use abit more work...

    Beautiful woodwinds!!!

The strings did well too, although there were some parts where it was abit out of tune...

    Overall, a GOOD performance...

    BRAVO!!

  • So beautiful...

  • Long live Sibelius!

  • R.I.P. Jean Sibelius

  • Those children in the audience need to hush!!!!!! And that cymbal player needs to go and stand outside and play.

  • I know why there are risers/steps for the winds, but not having them does change the sound, and it tempts me.

  • Why did the cymbals get their own microphone? Really, adjust mike position to favor strings, and be able to change volume on winds and brass. That's not so easy in a live setting, but you could drop a mike from above, put one in the stage flowers, maybe.

Good orchestra! I would try for more legato line, elision some.

Why did someone think they looked Chinese? silly

  • why are they all chinese?

oh and the filming is oh so great.

its lucky i like this piece and am playing it in my own orchestra, or i would have left a negative message. shut those kids up.

    lovely.

  • Aside from the tuning issues, style and ensemble playing show careful rehearsal, good for such young players!

  • very nice guys! i'm proud even though i don't know know you!
