There are always a bunch of anime openings that I could care less if I skipped, but this one is one of the few that I have NEVER skipped. I friggin' love this groove!
Try watching Claymore. The sub-main character is a shit load more feminine than Shinji. I'm pretty sure he's OD'ing on estrogen too, but because he KEEPS FREAKING CRYING EVERY EPISODE. If you seem him in an episode, brace yourself for superior stupidity and wussiness. The voice actor for the character makes it worse. He probably shouldn't be considered as a main character at all. In the Dubbed version at least.
