Thanks for the info uploa er....i have a quick question: _o the keys on the keyboar_ snap off so that I can clean them? For some reason a ran_om key _oesn't work an_ I want to make sure it isnt just _irty before I open it up. Take a guess as to which key it is!
thanks for the open-up view, I was wondering if the motherboard has a built in support to add 3G Data SIM? There is already a slot place I see it when I remove the battery, when I opened it I found soldered ends at that place? could SIM card pins be added to those soldered pins?
Hi, I don´t understand how can I upgrade de Memory to 2GB, you said that it is just with the bottom, but which one...? in the back i just found 1 slot and it is occuped for the first memory. there is another slot?. please help me... i dont find information about this. thank you... sorry for my english i´m learning it
No, I don't think so. The only warranty seal that I've noticed was on one of the other screws that hold two halves together.
HDD (wifi and wwan under it too) cover did not have any seals, or anything.
But of course, that was on my NB, and I did not really read the small print on the warranty card, so I don't really know what the warranty authorities would have to say about hdd cover opening.
You might want to check with your dealer, or Toshiba service, if you are voriad about warranty.

Sure, no problem :)
Yes, you are correct - as on most netbooks there is only ONE memory slot.(which has your 1GB memory now)
So in order to upgrade to 2GB, you have to buy a single 2GB memory, and then replace that with the 1GB already found inside the computer.
Hope this helps :)

So using Torx 7 screwdriver to access the hard drive and upgrade it would void warranty?

for memory upgrade u enter from back or from keyboard\?

No. Just from the bottom, there is a lid with one screw, which enables you to change memory in few seconds, and without braking the device warranty.
