  • This *was* the greatest jazz trumpeter ever; directly compared with him, most other modern trumpeters, Miles included, are sounding like clowns: Wynton Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, or Till Brönner ;)

  • Love this.

  • Though Clifford Brown, this could be the greatest trumpet-man ever.

  • Thank you for posting this! This is just lovely. I'm a big fan of Booker Little, and there's just not enough of him up here. Keep 'em coming.

  • This is a very very beautiful piece. What can one say other than 'Just beautiful.'

  • G0REAT,,

  • What a film clip

  • So Beautiful and Elegant

  • we know who booker little is.fats and clifford as well and they all played a massive part in our jazz world.and they all left too soon .thank god they left us with loads of examples of how important they really were.booker little was one of the best.many thanks

  • Booker Little...

    Not really famous, almost unknown...

It is strange to see that one of the greatest souls of the 20ieth Century is not considered as he should be.

No one was, is and will be more original, sensitive, brilliant than Booker.

Booker Little had so many things to express; Why does God take the greatest men back too soon?

    Blessing.

  • Wow...

And where didya get the pics from- they totally match the song- I actually play this viedo on mute while playing my other jazz pieces- not that this song isn't as worthy ;)

  • great performance - he died so young - showed so much promise.
