I'm obsessed with this song! The video is amazing, and I would have never found out who The Real Tuesday Weld is without Nick and Norah. That was a great movie, but this song is just...one of the best songs I've heard in a long while.

I can't be sure, but based on the general theme of the whole album (I, Lucifer), I think the one guy was tempted by loneliness to just sit and watch couples dance to a good song. The singer (presumably the devil in one form or another, based on the creepy transformation near the end) pulls the guy into the "stage bag thing", forever trapping him there.
