  • UMMMMMM WHY DID YOU GUT OUT THE INTERIOR OF THE BLACK ONE IF YOR GOING TO SWAP THE MOTOR FRUM THE WRECKED Z INTO THE BLACK Z?????

  • @vettekid407 I FOUND THAT I ALSO NEEDED TO RUN ALL THE WIRING FROM THE SILVER ONCE, SINCE THE ENGINE WAS RIPPED OUT FROM THE BLACK ONE(PREVIOUS OWNERS) I HAD NO IDEA WHAT ELSE WAS MISSING SO JUST GUTTED IT AND RE-WIRE, THE CAR IS COMPLETE AND IS NOW IN CALIFORNIA, I WISH I WOULD HAVE DONE SOME BETTER DOCUMENTATION BUT IT WAS ONLY ME BUILDING FOR THE MAJORITY OF TIME

  • @stunt10104 WOW!!! I GIVE YOU MAD PROPS FOR HAVING THE NERVE TO TACKLE ALL THAT ON SUCH AN ADVANCED AUTOMOBILE!!!!

  • eBay

  • where did you find the Z without an engine?

  • traction control? Blaming it on the car?

  • @dukviper90 ultimately it was my poor driving skills.... Shit happens

  • @stunt10104 Yes it does. Did you ever complete this project?

  • @dukviper90 yes i completed it in under a month, since it was just me most of the time i couldnt video all the time, so unfortunatly i never videoed the final result. i did hover took pics of the project i i went along ill try and post something of that sort.

  • @stunt10104 Very nice. Glad to see you still have it. Most people don't keep their Z's very long. I'm trying to save up for a new short block with better internals for my G35. Did you buy something to lift the engine out of the bay or did you make something?

  • @dukviper90 Nissan 350z and the G35 are great cars, when I took that car apart you could tell the Co. Spent time on really making an amazing machine. I bought an engine lift made the job so much easier, pulled tranny and engine in one swoop

  • @stunt10104 yes they are. Vq's series are great motors. Though, the only thing i don't like about them is the fact that they like to eat oil. From day one, the G35 always burned through a little over a half a quart of oil every 4000 miles. Don't worry, it's normal for these engines to do that.

  • please tell me you are going to keep it a manual transmission???

  • post the videos man!

  • post those vids i like the 350 my cousin has one.. but i have a scion tc which isnt bad either the both can be tuned about the same

  • good luck man!!

    not stupid at all

  • I don't use the traction control for this reason.

  • Well to others yes it is pretty stupid of what your doing, but if you really love that car let alone is a fan of the Zs then by all means bro go for it, just keep us updated and good luck man. Hope everythings well. I have an 06 black on black 350z actually but shit happens and I had to fix it a little but I'm changing it to gunmetal actually with the blue flakes.

  • PLZ POST ANOTHER VID!! (:

  • I was going 50mph and hit the only tree in the dang place, lol..

  • Ithanks yo! actually already finished the car but I haven't posted any other vids, I finished it in a month

  • KEEP IT UP YO

  • wow. its gonna be my favorite show :) I hope you'll document/record as much as you can. keep it up. and of course drive it smooth. :)

  • Really cool man! I own an '03 keep an update and take pics to maybe one day post on a forum. one thing i ask from one Z owner to the next take the ugly tail lights off the '05 before you finish the project lol

  • sshiiitttt man that looks like such a fun project

  • might take a min but hell ya do it sounds fun good luck man ...since your going to have that motor out might as well build it and turbo it up saves you future work ....how fast were you going when you hit that tree?

  • wow hope it all works out

  • Wow man good luck!
