Why I love Scott the most is that he is a TRUE fan of the show. He wasn't just an actor on the show who was there to make money: he truly cares about the legacy and the fans and the characters.

Because they ran out of ideas? Or because the show was getting dull? Or because without Maura Tierney it wouldn't be the same?

15 years is a long time. this TV has lost it core characters so it needs to end.
