Gee, you woulda thought that two guys who went around the world on these bikes, including Mongolia and Siberia, PLUS, One of them doing the Dakar, that they would have known that. If only you were there as a consultant :p

keep in mind that these bikes are FAR more heavy then your every day off roader... hitting the mud at that speed will only result in your front wheel digging in the mud and you flying over the handlebars

These guys have more experience then most off roaders... so I'm pretty sure that they know what they are doing... ;)
