U know what? I agree with that. Im an eBay rep too... I had a member who sold iphone 4s .. Not to mention the guy was just a student paypal reversed the money even if the phone was already shipped! I almost wanna cry for the customer that time! Listen... Why dont u use a merchant acct instead for u to accept credit card payments directly?

theres no buyer protection either on paypal or ebay. i am screwed by paypal cuz paypal wants me to return some faulty shyt from china (seller sent the wrong items) and the shipmnt is more than the transaction amount

I had the same situation one time when I received an item that was faulty and just like your story, the shipment cost more to ship the item back to the seller than what the transaction amount was. But if you deal with a powerseller then more than likely they will just refund you and tell you to either ship it without a tracking # OR they wouldn't want the item back because its no good and therefore they can't resell it.

I'm a victim too. 100 percent fb, then someone did a chargeback for using a unauthorized card. they still want their money AFTER SIX YEARS! you can't win. what they should do is if the buyer wants their money back, PP should send them a tracking number, make them take a picture with the tracking number, upload to PP, then send the item back to the the seller. then HE takes a picture (in case the buyer sends a brick by mistake instead of the item) with the tracking number, PP compares notes, TH

I already closed my eBay store in January and I am still fighting with Paypal over this bs with the watches while still paying back Paypal the negative balance in my account. I realized soon enough that eBay and Paypal do not really care about the seller. If the seller fights against the case, they will lose. If the seller does nothing, they will lose. It's a lose - lose situation all around for the seller while eBay and Paypal can be a potential scammer heaven for dishonest buyers.

Christmas, or near Christmas. Either way, it was the holiday rush and sales were good until these 3 jerks decided to tell Paypal the lame excuse of unauthorize use of their credit card and 1 of them stated the item never arrived. Even, with tracking and insurance provided on the package, Paypal rule in the buyer's favor. Long story short, I was out of nearly $7,000.00 USD. Also, eBay Germany ruled in another buyer's favor over a music CD because they didn't like the songs. Just endless crap.
