This vulcan system is garbage.The modders and infections are still polluting our gaming enviroment.There needs to be a swifter and harsher actions towards the hackers.Most hacks start here on youtube advertised.

True. People don't get banned at times when they should. But there can't be an enforcer in every game ever so it comes down to players. And honestly how many people do you know other than yourself that would report instead of join in? It's tough. Deal with it.
why do you make it seem as if xbox actually cares and reads complaints. I've never seen one person suspended who has sent me hate messages and i've filed. I find the complaint system useless and will refuse to believe these lies that a real person checks the complaints.

First of all, modding is totally different than hacking, so don't call these people hackers. Most of them follow tutorials and use a simple UI to do their modding. The Vulcan is just a simple UI for the people deciding the bans. And it's only efficient to a certain point. Stand back and look at the structure of how Xbox and Xbox Live works and you won't get hit by bans. It's quite simple once you learn the loopholes.
I've noticed some of the hackers on CoD4 that I've been filing complaints on are disappearing. I don't think I've seen the same hacker more than once. Nice work, keep it up.

Why do people think this guy works for Tech/Costomer Service? He's an XBLPET. He works for a company Microsoft hired to keep away rulebreakers and ban the ones already doing it.
Perhaps if Microsoft were to a) inform users appropriately and b) ensure their service is not compromised by those who are in fact hosting the servers you would be considered a relevant company in a few years time. But I fear, that as with all Microsoft ventures you will continue to alienate your customer base which is excellent for ensuring more people turn to other manufacturers in the future.
I'm sure it is an excellent way for Microsoft to rely on children to invalidate their accounts in an effort to get parents to pay out for an additional xbox live subscription, however in this case I'm afraid I do not appreciate the fact I would need to do this and will not be throwing more money at this company in future. It is an excellent way to lose a customer when the next generation consoles are released.

He was not made aware prior to the ban he was in fact acting against terms. When a company changes it's tos or conditions, it is usually a requirement to notify a user directly of these changes. Posting a sticky on a forum only relevant after a ban is not what I would consider appropriate or in fact useful.
@scoobyslayerful New rules state that if you're caught modding/using infections, it's an automatic perma-ban without warning. It diesn't matter if he was hosting the lobby(ies) or not, it's still against the rules. Make another account, and have the "minor" follow the terms of use this time.

@game1hova I have plenty experience. Every job I've ever had is customer service. He's not a customer service rep, he works with the tech. Obviously an entry level employee in a store has to keep up with a certain code of conduct that can include no piercings, but he's not some guy doing customer service. He's a higher up in a non customer service position. And obviously that's not how the world works if a guy like him made it to that position.

@loscakes Who knows. Like they said they get a lot of complaints. I don't think they'd ignore you're complaint but having been suspended probably doesn't help, either. All you can do is not put any kind of crude humor in anything on your profile. Then you can't get suspended for the slightest thing.

It would be much more efficient if they educated gamers on how to determine if a person is cheating. How are we supposed to tell if it was someone bridging host and standbying, or if XBL just did a horrible job selecting host. The host selection process is incredibly flawed and constantly produces poor host, causing lag and other shenanigans. How can they expect gamers to know when to properly file a complaint if they 1. aren't educating them and 2. refuse to improve the host selection process

All you can do is not put any kind of crude humor in anything on your profile. Then you can't get suspended for the slightest thing.

@omegaxtrigun Yeah, after being suspended over nonsense twice, I don't risk it anymore. Mainly I was referring to their claim that all complaints are reviewed within 24 hours which does not seem to be the case at all.

Believe me its heartbreaking because that was the best COD and still is MW2 wasn't into at all black ops is just boring and sounds like MW3 is going to be the cry baby game with weapons and perk changes

It would be much more efficient if they educated gamers on how to determine if a person is cheating. How are we supposed to tell if it was someone bridging host and standbying, or if XBL just did a horrible job selecting host. The host selection process is incredibly flawed and constantly produces poor host, causing lag and other shenanigans. How can they expect gamers to know when to properly file a complaint if they 1. aren't educating them and 2. refuse to improve the host selection process
