I love nancy drew games, but I'm kind of wondering how well this one would be for me since I'm half German and my German side is actually in Bavaria...gotta say, seeing two characters in Lederhosen doesn't help the case much. Can anyone tell me how it plays culture-wise?

@Shadegem the Lederhosen are actually mentioned in the game. The characters (mostly) hate wearing them, but the owner forces them to wear them to attract tourists who want an "authentic German experience" and don't know any better. Everything is touristed up, if you know what I mean, but I think the game was good about noting that this isn't how most modern Germans live. I hope this post helped! I definitely recommend playing the game.

@gamereviews411 I actually went ahead and started playing it and I'm glad they do mention that it's not common and they don't like it. But while they mention Lederhosen, they skipped on the chance to say that the "wierd dress" is called a dirndl...But still, it was a very nicely structured game, and though they didn't actually venture into the culture that much, I enjoyed it.

I'm so relieved. I got this for my little sister, and we're half German and grew up there, so I was concerned it was going to potray all Germans as lederhosen-wearing fat people. The sterotypes get annoying. XD Thanks for this comment (even though it wasnt for me) I'm glad the game does a good job at balancing it all out.

I hear this will be a popular one, but I myself must pass. I loved "Secret of the Old ClocK", "Treasure in the Royal Tower", "Ransom of the Seven Ships", "Stay Tuned For Danger", "Message in a Haunted Mansion", the more colorful games. This one is a bit werewolf, billygoat's gruff for my tastes. Good luck, Nancy!

my guess is that the game after this one is going to be in Australia. I say this because in SAW the second angry person staying at the inn had a Australian accent. the other person staying at the inn had a German accent. where is the next game-in Germany. i'm just saying and plus, Savanah is from Australia
