It's great that Jay Adams found Christ and turned his life around. The original Z boys were the skaters we idolized back in the day in San Diego. I couldn't keep up with these guys and by 1978, I hung up the skateboard for good and started surfing. I was blessed to be skating and surfing when these guys ruled!
