i love this hair its thick and beautiful i hate the new EMO hair everyone is following these days ya kno like asian characters...where the layers are hecka short on top like a MULLET haha hate that
@kaurgini05 i had an asian hairdresser and she ALWAYS made my hair like that!! i have extremely thick hair and she would thin the shit out of it and my shortest layer would be above my eye :\
@c0chayuyo I know right!! My hairdresser did that too! I just tell them to giv me a blunt cut from the back no layers i need to grow em out :( But maybe since the style is in hairdressers assume everyone wants that cut :(( i hate it :/
While the hairstyle was an improvement it looks to like it would be a fussy one, meaning product and constant fluffing. With the slight teasing of the hair underneath something would have to be done to maintain lift. This is not practical for some. Overall it did look great.
This is what inspires me to want to become a hairdresser more and more everyday!!! Look at how beautiful she looked and u can see she felt it to...Scott Miller you are an amazing stylist i hope one day i wil be able to make people feel beautiful the way you do
Long layers are to die for in my opinion and it was nice to watch Scott cutting his niece's hair. A little theatrical but I suppose if your putting it on You Tube you might as well do it up. The haircut itself seemed fairly basic but he added his own flair with the hair held up snip snip...and the scissors that looked like he was trying to cut hair with a pair from Crayola!! I really liked how her bangs came out and the final product compared to her 'before' is outstanding!
Oh please, Scott, any styalist can make a kid with long hair look like a rock star. A little teasing and some fake lashes and black shadow will make anyone look good. What can you do with your older clients? Show me a 50 yo cut! Show me some color techniques but don't show me what a Continental grad can do to a teen/20 something yo. That is bogus!
He did a lot of theatrics, no doubt. But no real damage to her hair. When she washes it, combs it out and gets ready to go to work. I don't think she will curse him. Looked like some honest professional work. He did not hack her hair and dance in glee, for making a mess. I think he did right by this lady. I like hair longer, but will not criticize good work that makes a lady's mid to long hair look good. He seems to like and respect his customers. That is the 1st priority. Keep ladies smiling!
I'm just wondering how its going to look when she styles it herself. Will she tease it and lift sections and spray it? doubt it. Looks like a basic cut to me with just a fancy approach. Her eye makeup was too dark. Just my 2cts.
I totally went and did a whole hair cut with thinning shears after watching this a few months ago.

hi im a cosmoetology studuent so why did u use the thinning shears on this hair cut
sexysamnj 8 months ago 2
@sexysamnj He used thinning shears, yes. If you cut on that spot over and over it'll give a textured look
