  • Hey dogchop,

Thanks for the quick response. One other question, is it a stock 92 frame you hardtailed, something you built, or a frame you bought?

  • Hey Mackgren, 92 engine and a 33 degree rake, cheers

  • Hey Dogchop,

Great bike! What year Sportster is it? And is the frame raked at all?

  • very nice job! awesome rat bobber

  • Wooow man. Beautiful job. Looks great.

  • no doubt this is a nice bike!

but if your argument is about speed then you dont need to be on a harley.. Harley is about the legacy and history...and the freedom of the open road...its not about proving yourself against other bikes.

and your "bigger engine=faster bike" comment tops the ignorance of your first comment. that is the most narrow minded, uninformed comment anyone could make.

furthermore with that mentality you have some maturing to do before you straddle a Harley.

  • BadAss

  • Rover there doesnt seem to like Bob very much.

  • au au au au

  • Helmsbarn. You obviously don't know sportsters. Check out Led sled customs website. All sportsters. All the time.

  • Very cool bike dude.

  • Harley-Davidsons are fast bikes for tough guys. What are you 5?

  • Just like a beautiful woman, I wish I could wake up to that every morning.

  • Love it!

  • Who makes the wheels and the springer front end, looks sick with those tires. Nicely done.

  • You have to make seat mounts just past that bar in the corners mate, she should sit just rite then. You got some adjustment in the seat bracket too.Doin a ironhead bobber myself at the moment. Alas, tis a sad day, ive sold this bike 2 days ago to a mate, Gotta keep movin bud, Cheers, Leedog.

  • First off nice bike. I love this build. I am building an ironhead bobber that is in paughco frame. I was wondering how you mounted the seat springs. I noticed that if I mount the springs on the cross member between the back legs the the seat sits too far forward. Thanks.

  • Where did you get the whitewalls?

  • No stretch mate, i love these frames, motor fills it nice, bought another for my ironhead, postin a couple of vids soon.Stevetfire my mate also got a sporty project just starting with same frame, check us out soon, thanx for the comment dude, cheers,Leedog.

  • awesome bike, just wondering if the down tubes are stretched at all?

  • I like the fat front tire. Looks good both ways.

  • good choice on changing the front to a 21

  • Oh man, I love the dog barking around the bike!!! So adorable. =)

Also your bike is the best looking bobber I've seen!

  • Sweet!

    Love the look.

And your dog loves it too.

  • What !!!!!!!! You cant rcowboy4, That paintjob is copyrite protected under the "Four inches from the floor and flying mofo" Law, Ha,ha.

  • Just going to let you know I'm stealing your paint scheme lol

  • Was out on it today man. The springers work well, even at 120mph if you dont hit any pot holes, ha ha. Thanks for your comment, Cheers, Lee.

  • I'll try to watch the potholes, then!

I noticed the original front end on the '06 Roadster got a wobble at about 105 mph. I assumed at 110 mph - it "might" steady back out....but hadn't tried it, since that was only 1 of 2 potential outcomes!

Good to know with the new front end 120 mph will be possible.

Ride safe, man - great looking bike!

  • Cool bike, dude!

I've been hunting on youtube for a while to find someone who'd put a wide DNA front end on a Sportster. I'm doing the same (parts are getting black powder coated, now).

How's the ride with the springer?

    Ride safe!

  • gorgeous bike man, really. The narrow front tire looks sooo much better. I want to build the exact same kind of bike, with maybe a newer engine...so far all i know is it's a paughco frame. so beautifully low.....

  • Great bike, dumb dog

  • 1:46 pretty sure you kicked the dog hein?nice bike!

  • Hi, The gas tank is a Detroit Bros Instigator, and the springers are D.N.A 2" under. Found em at the back of a whore house in Bangkok. lol.

  • kick the dog lol

where did u find the gas tank and the springer front fork ?

  • clean bike dude.. cool lookin boxer too

  • its perfect

  • Would it be possible to use a 21" wheel with 4" under springer front? Any ideas would be appreciated.

  • What are you using for a rear fender? Perfect mix of chrome, paint and aluminum.

  • i love harleys, but you dog is a bit jelous!!!

  • Yes it is a mooneyes oil tank mate.Welded a flat plate behind the centre post with a strap over the top to hold it in place. Cheers

  • Is that a Mooneyes oiltank you have on there?

If so how did you manage to mount the battery and box?

On of the best Bobbers I have seen in some time.

    Cheers.

  • I'm gonna build a bobber just like this next year, SWEET!!!

  • one of the sweetest bikes i've seen man, great job!! what tires are you runnin' on this bike?

  • nice bike man !!

  • Really nice sportster, you have done a very good job!!!, I like the frame, the tank oil, the painting and this oldies style tires.

  • Hi jdebalsi, Its a Detroit Bros Instigator tank. Cheers mate.

  • I love all your projects! Keep building! Just built my own sportster bobber...Now I need to change the frame. Thanks for the inspiration! One more thing. What kind of tank is that?

  • that paintwork and wheels are making me horny. My street bob is off to be completely blacked out on Monday. Wasnt going to do the spokes...but looking these..mmmh I was thinking mat dark gold spokes

  • perfectt pedazo moto joderrr

  • Can you tell me where I can get a frame like you are using there and waht rake it is and possibly model number.

I don't mean to be a pain in the ass but this will be my first build and don't want to f**k anything up.

    Cheers.

  • Hi there again. Just wanted to know where you managed to get your DNA springer from. I have been looking and cannot seem to find any dealers in this country.

Once again lovely bikes you have. Look forward to the next vid.

    Cheers.

  • Hi, They are stock Harley sportster bars with the middle cut out and welded to the springer top tree. The top tree had 1" slugs welded on first, and the bars fitted over, Cheers.

  • That is one amazing bobber you have there. I love it. Never seen a bobber done so well. This has actually inspired me to build my own sportster bobber and was just wandering where you managed to get those handlebars? They are a nice touch.

    Nice Work.

    Cheers.

  • yer smackin'

  • dont you just love that brass looking headlight, goes perfect with the black.

  • the dogs just jealous .. swnds wicked though
